OMG - Heard on the news today that iphone is selling to mainland China for US Dollars 1,100. First they rip the Chinese people off with very low wages to manufacture the phone in China and now they sell it to them at this price. Steve Jobs, shame on you...

yeah, n900 is not too expensive anyway, and i think its much better than iphone and hd2 (my opinion)

Why is the OS a disadvantage?
They've set up a full fledged developer community around it, it's been used before on the N810 tablet, and is a perfectly capable Linux based multitasking OS.
There may not be many apps now, but there'll be more as time passes.

This would be my perfect phone if it's capasitive touch screen. I hope the touch control is as snapy as Hero/Iphone!
