When you're driving down the freeway, I do not have time to take out a stylus to make a call. I do not want to grow finger nails so I can use my phone without a stylus. I do not want to press hard enough so the 2 pieces of plastic can make contact. I do not want to feel my screen "flex" when I press on it, make it feel cheap. Most people that don't like capacitive touchscreen are iPhone haters anyway.

As for the other guy talking about writing your own program saying "if you can't find the application you need, make it!" Are you insane? I smell another iPhone hater.

I use my precious time to make money so I can PAY someone that wrote the program that I needed, thus so they can have a job and make a living. By saying what you said, you are just dissing software engineers.. you think everyone can do what they do?

why do Isheep complain about the apps! if you can't find the application you need, make it! if don't know how to -> buy an iphone..
all you can do with it is download apps and use them as they are, get bored... and download some more - - - have fun with that

resistive is much more precise and since the screen has a amazing resolution you can have pretty small icons crystal clear while browsing and other stuff.
If you read a little and not just guide yourself by the spec list, you'll realize the resistive screens are now quite sensitive

with resistive you have the advantage of precision, using anything to work the screen and avoiding miss "touchs"

captive is for eyecandy trendy devices
resistive is for more functional ones

(if you don't believe me, try browsing a complex full of links webpage with an captive and with resistive, you'll realize that on the captive you'll have to me zooming constantly. besides, on the resistive, if you cannot click it with your finger you won't have to zoom, simply use your nail) I already did

Maybe Nokia is having the same problems Motorola had with getting voice to work with 3G networks using Linux.

The drivers were non-existant, why else do you think they only used it in Internet tablets before?
