The n900 will be available in select markets (EU & ME. Sadly there hasn't really been a mention of SE Asian countries though im pretty sure HK will be one of them!).

I watched on youtube a video of 1 of the Maemo managers where he was explaining the durability for the battery of N900.
he said: ( the N900 is very intelligent as it will use the battery according & depending on the need of the device, so in this case the battery will be fantastic..

This phones gonna have the same stupid design fault of the n97!! The camera cover stupidly scratches the camera when it's main purpose should be protecting. Really stupid!

This seems to be what the N97 should have been in the first place. I am glad I didn't buy a N97 as I felt it was CACK.
I am glad I didn't have to end up getting an iPhone through lack of alternatives, as I really don't do oblivious-smug at all....
