AviNagra, 18 Sep 2009Seems tricky but wait for the N900, i sure am. The 3G will not work on Fido because Fido uses the 850 band. If you really want the phone, switch to
Wind Mobile when they launch their services here. They will be using the 1700mhz for 3G.

        Hi-

I have to buy a phone and for long I have been researching and ultimately zeroed down to N97. But recently heard that Nokia is about to launch N900 soon (next month). Can anyone give me some suggestions on which one to go for?

(PS: I will be buying the set without the plan)

^_^, 18 Sep 2009Will this phone be available in the Philippines? Here is the answer to your Q:

There’s a lot of passion for Nokia Nseries in the Middle East” Martinez told itp.net “The N900 will not be available in all markets in the world (this year) because we are still creating the platform; so we need to create languages and some assets, but definitely we will prioritise the typical Latin versions and the Arab versions. We are planning to sell in Saudi and lower Gulf from day zero

I hope T-Mobile USA gets this phone, it would makes sense that it will be compatible with the 1700/2100 3g network. This is the type of high end phone I have been waiting for T-Mobile to get, they better get it!

the points you mentioned about the N97 Better than N900 are not important as it is not linked to hardware or software,
