well im using htc hero wich has andoid and super phone...i must say i would really buy this.this is the first touch screen from nokia that i like...was really disapointed on them but now i see they kinda do theyr job.good work nokia and keep it like this...

Look at all you geeks, this phones dope. end of.
We arnt all super nerds who read into specs, at the end of the day, a phones a phone, it has a camera, it can make calls, it can browse the net, therefore this phone is kick ass.
you can keep arguing about which phone is better and which is crap, end of the day in my eyes and many others (consumer) this phone is the king of all phones atm, we dont waste our lives spending hours on end reading up on specs. go get lives all of you, phone geeks.

The Samsung Omnia II I8000 comes very close to nailing it, but there are a few things that really hold it back. First and foremost is the lag, especially on the homescreen.
It may be caused by Samsung fail to optimize it's 800Mhz cpu and 256MB RAM or Winmo OS.
We suspect the latter. See that's typical complaint of Winmo phone users.
I think Samsung omnia II is the best winmo handset available to date. I almost decide to buy it, until the homescreen lagness show me evidence to back out.
If the lag is just 0.5 sec who cares.. but if it reach 0.5 min, I think everybody will concern.

Iphone sells is a proof that the world is full of dumb*s who cannot even realize that they are being robbed and they actually celebrate it, d*mb mor*ns are the reason iphone sold so well, but you see not everyone like toys, some people like feature rich phones unlike the army of immature iphonish noobs.

Anonymous, 05 Sep 2009before N900 , maemo is used for the nokia internet tablet a... moreI am using X1 right now and I have never had any problem in browsing the net, its fast and efficient, even if we consider that firefox is faster(which is debatable) what difference it does make that firefox will open a page in 0.5 seconds and internet explorer in 0.9 seconds?? Come on thats not a reason to ditch a mobile browser, how much difference is that?? And to tell you the truth I am using firefox and ie8 on my pc and believe me ie8 is faster than firefox on my pc at least, ie8 is a very good browser and I am now using it more than firefox. I am just giving this example to show you that ie is not that bad now.
Plus there is always opera and its even more faster than firefox, I mostly use opera on my pc and mobile, so that browser problem thingy is nothing, don't forget that winmo has a large databse of great apps and if something is not included in the box there are are always ways to get it in the end.

to Satio fans, Xperia or Omnia HD out there, you dont have to argue which is better in specs because they all are, but the biggest judge were the consumers who buy this phones. If this phones wont sell like I predicted it wont, and were really not selling as of the moment (like Xperia and Omnia HD) its as good as failed because mobile phone manufacturing is a business that depends on sales.
you dont have to argue people, they were all doomed to fail!

(I ... moreI have nothing against N900, I actually liked it and thats rare, I don't like nokia much,never had any good experience with it. But N900 is a very good device, its just that whenever I see comments like that its the best right now and SE is crap or something like that then I am piss*d off, because neither N900 is the king of all mobiles nor X2 or Satio lack anything and are in fact great devices.
Most of the X2 haters are noobs who cannot understand winmo and just because of their own incompetency and lack of intelligence they end up spreading crappy lies about winmo, yes i understand that its not for noobs but at least they cannot even try to understand how it works?? These noobs make me angry, in short I hate dumb*s.

you're all arguing about specs but in the end of the day, phones that wins in the sales battle where always not the better spec ones but those phones that had an appealing UI and the services that is offered with it and how this reaches people
apple iphone sold millions because of it has all this factors and N900 will sold millions rather due to this.
No matter how you criticize specs, this wont matter since most of the people around the world doesn't used this high specs in there daily life.

(I ... moreafter seen N900 video you would get the point of no return. I don't know about N810 (and frankly don't care). but this phone UI & touch are amazing. It is resistive yet if you see yourself the zooming in & out using finger circling gesture (clockwise to zoom in and anti clockwise to zoom out). It's cool! and you won't miss that apple pinching experience.
Nokia has done it their own way!
And it is responsive.. and so many other cool stuff you better watch it yourself.

is the internet explorer browser speed faster than mozilla ??
don't said mozilla , even the safari also better n faster than the window internet explorer!
satio no needed to said, it using a nokia s60 browser with flash LITE v3.0/ or maybe v3.1 , which is totally out of the game.

(I actually think nowadays people take for granted all the advanced features carried by latest phones.)
Nevertheless, i am not a fan of WM (and you've pointed out well, it's what i believe and like -- thus personal, and everyone may think differently), especially a WM running on old CPU (same as X1 if i'm not mistaking). Now, you have features pumped up (not that many if you go one by one), but same processing power, so i don't know...
I do have to say that the physical keyboard looks better on X2 than on n900.
Satio... all looks nice... But 128mb RAM, no physical qwerty, and no 3.5mm standart audio jack? no thanks.
not a fan of symbian s60, nor of WM, so i'll put my hopes in n900..
so what do you have against n900? really curious, maybe stuff i need to know to change my mind ;-)

there are many... moreWell pal its not about what you believe, believe whatever you want to believe but X2 and Satio are also great sets and N900 while is a very decent and feature rich phone has not got anything that will make it a groundbreaking piece of technology, N810 had maemo..I never heard about it much and none of the nokia fan ever said anything about maemo before, if it was that good why didn't nobody ever asked for it before???

in SUA costs 439 euro(649$) and in Europe is 599 euro...so freakin americans must be lucky ( or is fake chinese N9000 , ;) just kiddin')...anyway i played 2 minutes with the phone and it's amazing ...I'm selling my e61i, my e61, and u700 samsung for this...Best phone , i was looking fo TG01 but it has WM and no keyboard...until the second gen ill take N900
