Jailbreak and you can do the same with applications.
Then there's Adobe Flash which I covered earlier.

Sorry -- maemo.org is the official dev... moreLike Adobe Flash is close sourced so Apple doesn't use it but they developed WebKit which is open source so Nokia and Maemo are free to use it, which they do for their web browsers.
As long as you support Adobe Flash you support closed source, you have to wait for Adobe to make it for your OS, web developers have to buy Adobe software to use it, everyone HAS to download the software from Adobe to use it.
I think you are a bit mixed up on Apples position on open source,

Great OS and software!
The only improvement necessary is the design. Why not a full-touchscreen device when the keyboard is crammed,small and uncomfortable to use anyway?

try compare with SE X2 side by side, you will see the difference, in fact they are very different, judge yourself which has higher specs

Iphone is a pure American hype...we know that...but everyone doesn't bost an iphone in America. We are fully aware which phones are good and which phones are wanabes with a popular company logo on it (i.e. iphone)....lastly chicks in America thought razr, krzr, and all those other phones were "hot" because it was thin. Again another media hype that started on dawsons creek I believe. Stop watching soo much American T.V and then generalizing everyone.

That is a redundant question to ask. Though through speculation it should work with a mac since the syncronizing tool "PC Suite" is compatibale with mac computers.
