apt-get update
Run these commands after gaining root access in terminal.
and make sure all repositories are enabled before running these commands.
It will update related camera API's for that particular kernel.

My camera isn't functioning properly...i have modified kernel.it focuses and captures properly,but when i try to re-open that image....it says "unable to open,file format not supported"
can any one help?

This phone is great but the usb charging port is problem once damage unable to repair. I took mine to Nokia Center Ikeja Nigeria they were unable to fix it for 2months plus. If anyone can be of help contact me via email please. nicholasademola@gmail.com im unable to use the phone since the maemo5 OS on it got corrupted. Without usb port there is no alternative to load new OS or Flash the phone. it suck

For the Canola Player, It is available in the application manager.. Just search it by keeping all the repositories enabled & being connected to internet off course... :) For installing this player, u might face problems like application package not supported. If it is the case, u vl have to probably uninstall some applications to make it work..
For Portrait mode, Following tutorial will be very much helpful :

After installing this updates, the CSSU tuner should be available in the application manager.. Off course, search it by keeping all the repositories enabled & being connected to internet... :)

the nokia n900 don't have any updated support.

the front camera do work, u got to download the Mirror app,,, but its not that good... i didnt find that interesting on a clarity basis
