        Thanks Everyone for your response. I hope my experience will help someone who has not yet purchased or is considering purchasing this phone. Here's an update. When using a friends T-Mobile sim it connects to the internet 100 percent of the time. When I insert my 3g Cingular sim, no internet. Hope this helps perspective buyers in the US.

                  thanks again pappy... but still not work.

                  now i try soft reset, still not work, but work with hard/deep reset. it work for now.
                  after that, i have different problem... sometime, in half of transfer music, n91 disconect it self and say if the batteray cover is open, i should restart device to make hard drive work again.
                  next... after playing music for a few hours, the external speaker off, music still playing, but i can't hear anything.
                  then, try to restart device... still no sound, but i can hear sound from n91 keypad. its no problem if i use headphone....

                  what happen with my N91????

                      To Tim and Pappy,

                      t y for the advises from u 2. i will try it later. i do want to know the procedure in case the software hang, what we should do? please list the details. I had the experience on it. i just simply remove the battery cover since i can't switch the unit off by the "ON/OFF switch" . i do know it will bring harm to the hdd. but besides this , what i can do? the second probelm is when i start the unit again, the hdd always missing, so i switch it off again, after several time, n91 will ask me to format the hdd... very terrible experience. the most important all the songs had gone. hope anyone who has n91 give me the opinions for that, or just only i have this problem, or how ot avoid this problem. the attachment manual are 2 simple, did not mention about the troubleshooting method.

                          ive read a lot of your opinions about thise phone....and ive some conclusions....the phones on the market should all the same, because the price is not ''small'' at all, and if you want put on sale these phone in:indonesia,bulgaria,romania,france or finland, the quality have to be the same, because the price is high, and the mark is nokia...but, the story with nokia phones is the same, at least when we talk about the expensive ones...

                          ps: im a nokia fan

                            I have never had any problems with the Web or sevice browser even roaming on Cingular in the US or in Europe. Since you are base din the US did you try the Settings Wizard like I said?

                                  @Tim

                                  Have you tried getting your seetings sent to your phone directly from the nokia site? Frankly the CSR in the US knows nothing other than the models that has been released here.They even try playing wiht other settings and screw your phone. Beware. From my personal experience, they dont even help much if you got the phone unlocked from somewhere else.

                                  I hope you are using a cingular SIM with EDGE support like what T-mobile USA does.

                                    Thanks Pappy,
                                    It's nice to know that there are people out there who are cool about helping others. I have an unlocked Nokia 6680 and use it an AT&T unlimited data plan, and it works great. So, I was a little put off when the n91 I waited so long for had problems connecting to the internet. It would connect only about 10 percent of the time (same location and signal strength). So I took it over to a friend who works at Cingular. He used his sim and it worked fine. Then I migrated from AT&T to Cingular and it worked. Then, about an hour later I tried to use the internet, but was unable to establish a connection. So back to Cingular to try to get different settings. The tech guy tried everything but always, "web connection time out". Everyone was amazed! Such a cool phone, but only being able to use WiFi to access the internet is not worth the price. I was told by the Cingular Rep that "their system doesn't like unlocked phones". To this I replied, "my 6680 is unlocked". To this he replied "yea, but that was with AT&T". So, what have I learned? I have learned that you really need to see if the phone you lust over will work with your network, but not just on paper comparing reviews, but by actual people who have the phone and use all the features you find important ON YOUR NETWORK!

                                      To hklulu: shut down the phone, then turn it on and put your ear against it. After few seconds drive have to start and you can hear the sound of it. If it is not there - you have a problem with hardware. Don;t forget to put battery cover on:)))

                                        To Steve: Disagree - best phone I've ever had. Don't know where these problems coming from - mine works just fine. Who complains that there is no WiFi??? B.S. May be you bought GSM version for China:))) It is illigal there.
