its da best phone evr and it contains 4gb micro drives and i want to tell u all fans of nokia that the micro drive u all are thinking is not that one which has a disk on it,it is a digital kind of drive which can be formatted, diafragmented, and it simply does no gets crash when the phone slips out from any ones hand.and frm my point of veiw it is the best cell phone ever made and is a break through in nokia memory storage.got it ;)

For those worried about the microdrive, there have been big improvements. There are now microdrives that can withstand 1000 Gs of shock...which means the display is more likely to get broken than the microdrive.
also, why would you need expandable memory? for the people in the market for a phone like this, it would be pointless. the one's who'd buy this wont keep it forever, they'll keep it a couple years until something better comes out. sure we always need more and more memory, but adding a MMC makes an almost negligible increase when you have 4gb, unless youre willing to spend some serious cash.

hmm. I think nokia is on the right track here this time, but personally I won't buy this phone still because:
1. Micro drive. Reliability is low, fails a lot. If it's solid state it's good!
2. It won't ever go away from the Symbian OS but that in general is slow (from what I see from current nokias) compared to other OSes
3. Looks ugly. Why do they make such a big "Head"? it's very uncomfortable to hold with a shape like that.
4. Non expandable memory slot. Even MMC might be good.
I do sound that I want a lot but since nokia is making a smart phone they should at least give these features a go. The O2 phones already have all these features for a good price. I reckon that later nokia might release better phones later! (convertme from SE! :D)

For the people that said that they have the phone you might wanna tell us where you get them from? Since it was not officially released yet - I've browsed on ebay and with the way that they are selling it especially with the payment methods - it doesn't look legit.
Surely you can't say that u have the phones and expect us to believe you without any proof that it's legit?

For those of you in the states, I wouldnt buy the phone off of ebay before its out. Besides the obvious likelyhood of any N91 ebay auctions being scams, it still has yet to be approved by the FCC. so if you buy it, and dont want to risk being fined, you'd have to wait until its out anyways.

Microdrive is afterall works by mechanical movement. Will crash or failed if hard bang. Flash drive is after all better and reliable.

Warning !! This Cell phone will be using a 4GB Microdrive.. I had a Muvo2 with a 4gb microdrive in it. It didn’t last very long.. and I was very careful with it. I wont be buying anything with a microdrive again.. Solid State Memory is the way to go.

The only way Nokia can possibly pull this off and keep it under 1000 Euro is to make the 4GB a microdrive. This would have significant impact on the phones longevity/durability, battery life, and seek time.
Still - I want one!

I have the Nokia N90 AND the N91 up for sale on ebay so if anyone wants one of these phones then go to the U.K version of eBay and place your bids! I have the actual phones and this is not a scam (check my ebay feedback rating) so please do not reply to this saying that I am full of it amd do not actually have these phones because I do.

Ebay is selling this phone but most of them will be either stolen or non-existant, for instance why are most of them sold at rediculously low prices. I tried to buy the Nokia N90 from Ebay but the seller wanted me to pay in an unusual way, one that was not authorised by Ebay so I didn't buy it. If you buy one of the N-Series phones from Ebay the chances are you won't receive the phone. I would say wait until this site has some links to websites selling the phone.
