Hi. I have just sold my beloved N81 8Gb which I've bought for 24k last December 2007. Sold it to a known person for 13k so I incurred a loss of 11k. *sigh* I just needed the money for my application for a job. So I'm now back to using my good old N91. Yipee! *sigh again*

In actual fact. ergonomics and useability tests done by Stuff Magazine back in 2006 the N91 was tops against the RAZR and some Samsung phone - i forget. The keynat keys are small but raised quite high and are very easy. For myself I can text faster than i could on the N81 i had for a while.
The industrial design i admit is polarizing -either you love it or hate it. I still love it. I saw on You tube from the Marketing guy after the N96 launch that the same design team did the upcoming N96 so they were not fired, looks like they were rewarded to me to get the next big thing for Nokia

its great to be here to express my fellings about this phone.I love music, thats why i tried a lot of music phone with different kind of brand like se (walkman series),motorola(rokr series),nokia(n series and express music tag phones).but no single phone is stand along with n91 8gb.really i believe n91 is only one phone in mobile industry which sounded with great sound,as well as n91 have great connectivity options like 3g,wifi etc.
n91 makes a history.
n91 ruls.......................

N91 is the worst Nseries phone. Very inconvenient, very impractical phone. Nothing can be worse than this. The engineers/designers who created this piece of expensive junk should've been fired long ago!

N91 is the most tricky of all the Nseries. It could've been so successful but it turned the other way around. It's a total market disaster leaving so many angry users!

10 important fact(Good and Bad) of N91,
1. Excellent music phone with good quality sound than ealier model of N series. Good equilizer support.
2. Wifi enabled which makes this phone more important.
3. Little bulky design and small keypad, so for those who have thick finger or females with long nails will have problems to press the keypad buttons.
4. The biggest problem is internal memory, the more you install the application on it, the more its eat-up the internal memory.
5. Another good feature about this phone has an option to Cut/Copy/Paste, the user who believes in this will definetly like this feature.
6. You can connect any output speaker Jack to this earphone jack and can enjoy anyother good quality headphone and doesnot require the defualt headset.
7. Video call feature.
8. Now you can now install Nokia map.
9. Good battery backup even if you access Wifi.
10. No default call recording feature.

Hi
Just remember all of the phones after N91 (N81, N78 etc) all come after the new European Audio level rules in 2007 i believe. N91 is the first and last to have the kick ass volume.

I've just learnt it. The N78 has exactly the same audio chip of N81 and N91. The hardware chip only exclusive before to a flagship device like N91 is now just a regular component of a mid-class handset like N78.

N81 and N91 have the same audio chip hardware. N81 has upgraded software. N91 has old outdated software. They must sound the same since they have the same hardware. Infact, N81 has the edge since it has a newer software which controls the audio output quality. A great music phone is not about the audio quality alone. It's about all the facilities. Better battery life, more decent screen, nicer, faster user interface, slimmer dimension, etcetera, etcetera... in short, it's all about the overall user experience, how good it is. N81 is the best music phone right now! The rest are just second best.

In the end i think the N91 and N91 8GB has become a bit of a cult device. The industrial design is polarizing (either you love it or you hate it) but make no mistake about it, nothing, including the iphone beats it in audio quality and loudeness

N81 is much better than N91, so much better. N81 is in a new level now. Just accept it. N91 is an old phone. That's why nobody is selling this unit anymore. N81 is the new king. N91 has long been dethroned.

I have had the Nokia N91 and N91 8GB for years, yes there were problems in the early firmwares, but after that they were both fine, all you haters on here have no idea what your talking about, this phone cannot be touched by any other phone for Audio Quality...
it still beats the ipod or iphone and anything else...
stop all your whinging and deal with it, or better still get hold of one on Ebay and enjoy! you will understand where us N91 owners are coming from :-)
