To 5700
i have n91 8gb its freaking slow. u cant fill all of its 8gb memory cos it will slow down yur phone! but wen i update it to latest sw version (3.10) it kinda speed up a bit! not that slow anymore.

To my mistake and b0redness,ive swap my n91 to a 5700,im really satisfied wth the 5700's flash,display,and cam,also the keypad,but i really miss s0mething,the best music that ive heard in n91,5700 lacks bass while n91 is abundant.n91 rules,if i f0und an0ther n91,i wil swap again my f0ne.s0me rum0rs say that n91 8gb wil be very when it reach 5gb,is it true?regards

As far as i remember the N91-5 is lacking the WLAN chip so no sw upgrade can fix that. Also i believe you cannot put the AD2P se from the N91 8Gb on to an N91

hi i hav n91-5 its d version dat doesnt hav 3g & wifi. ive read frm a forum dat n91-5 infact has wlan hardware chip like n91-1. but its only disabled in d firmware? is it true? can anybody confirm this pls? tnx!

i'm sorry about this, being off topic, but i'm a little disperate. i've seen that you know lots about n91 "pappy" and i kinda' need your help. i have an n91 it's updated to the last sw version but is was vondering if there's any way to upgrade the bluetooth to A2DP. if you know a way pls mail me at criminus2001@yahoo.com

good phone! good relation between cost and benefits.. but there are some things that dont let it be the best of bests. The batery is not so good, and the phone is heavy and big. Taking it out is the best phone we have in the market today.

I used to have this kind of phone...but then I got it broken because I kept on uploading music in it...WITHOUT a MEMORY CARD...sucks...kinda miss it already...but still happy with my 5300... :)) :3

This is a nice phone bt i think nokia has to do some work on its battery life and also the speed at which the device operates is not so gud.

Thanks for the advice even if you have to repeat repeat yourself ever so often to some of us. The 'restart with battery cover off' trick worked. I did a backup to pc in Jan and I was able to restore after a reformat and new software.
Thanks again. I still think this fone is great.

this is my favorite phone..love to have n91 8gb but i think its already phased out..you cant find it anywhere..i would love to have n81 8gb..im a music lover and music collector..music is my biggest multimedia priority..but i cant buy it..its too expensive for me..i have n91 4gb for almost 2 years now..i love it so much..its my music companion..ive had couple of problems but im glad ive been able to overcome them..now im enjoying my n91 more than ever..

hello dear nokia n91 8GB user -i use so model of nokia butt iam very happy i bring nokia n91 8GB musical edition it is compleat gsm mobile and compleat muzik home thater sound is powerfull muzik very clear and soft and i have no other choice only n91 and my personal muzik world in my pocket and you check it once a time you feel its a nice choice for muzik lover good bye[A.R JEDDAH K.S.A]

N91 is gud but not gud as Sony P1i. If you see look wise N91 is like a Geometry Box. I compared the sound quality also, and I found Sony P1i is much better than Nokia N91. So guys beleive me go for P1i. :)

Hi everyone
i have just done a FULL FORMAT on my Nokia N91 8GB - it started to PAUSE itself during the Music Playback!
Pappy - is this all that is needed to fix this problem?
i am uploading 7GB worth of music onto it as we speak, all my MP3`s are 320kbps
what should i do to avoid the PAUSING in the future?
help my friend :-)

I used this phone for about 3 years and it was a great phone. I ended up selling it for a good price and put it towards the N95 8GB. The only thing I didn't like about N91 was its weight...very heavy phone. But its a great phone...no complaints.

Hi folks havin problems with your n91,easy to solve.
The only thing u should do is format the hard disk fully regardless of whats stored on it.it worked 4 me.try it

I know this has been posted before but for people with some problems below (many look like old sw in use etc) here it is again
(still using my N91 and N91 8Gb after all these years :)
pappy
a) Battery cover - HDD unavailable or in use another tip
[*] turn off the phone
[*]Removed back cover
[*]Restarted phone
[*]after restarting put the back cover
[*]format hard disk
b) Deleting Databases
Go to filemanager (filing cabinet icon)
Move joystick to switch to HDD tab
Select Options
Select Find
Select HDD memory
Type in system in "Find Text" field
See the system folder
then see data folder
erase the whole data folder
Power cycle the device
You can also use your PC and USB mass storage to see it
PC suite cant see N91

1. Go to Windows' Control Panel and open "Add or Remove Programs" application.
3. Select "PC Connectivity Solution", click "Change" and then "Repair".
4. After Repair, restart PC

This is the best phone ever. I dont know about you but for me this is better than any N95 or N81 or any N-Series phone. I have a N91 and a N73. These two are the best phones of the Nokia N-Series. The N91 has its problems but I still love it.
