I discovered sumthing. The N91 hard drive does actually spin. Its moving. I place my N91 near my ear. Whenever I play music with muted sound, I hear sumthing spins inside the N91. Even opening image from the gallery, I hear sumthing spins. The N91 disk is really like a mechanical disk that spins when you do a task that involves the hard drive. Even when booting up the device I can hear it spins.

One con.. Screen regulation not good.
I already use Sony ericsson W810i and I compare with Ipod nano the nokia n91 is really king of music. If you love music you must buy this phone, it is not only a phone can say a great music device.

Hi Aaron
Slight correction N91 8GB has UPNP, A2DP,WDRM already etc. My understanding is that the N81 has the same sound quality as the N91 (maybe not as loud) whereas the N95 has good audio but not as good. So your upgrade decision may rest on how important the audio quality is to you.
Right now I am still happy with my N91 and N91 8GB but I am also looking at what to upgrade to from my N91 8GB.

Hi. I have N91 for a year now. It gave me so much satisfaction when it comes to music, except for the battery. Now Im planning to upgrade to a new music phone. Either N76, N81 8GB, N95 or N95 8GB. In comparison to N91, N76 has the latest software & OS version, faster processor (369MHz), larger RAM (40MB after boot), larger, higher resolution screen, slimmer dimension, lighter weight, also has 3.5mm jack, better Music player interface (at least when compared to original N91), dedicated music keys, second to N91 in audio quality (second best in audio quality through 3.5mm jack among the Nseries), support for 4GB, 6GB & 8GB microSDHC cards, but no WiFi. N81 8GB has all the functions & features of N91 8GB plus a lot more improvements including: larger screen, larger RAM (Ive read it has around 80MB free RAM after boot), lastest S60 software & OS version, faster processor, NGAGE, A2DP, UPnP, stereo speakers, 8GB flash memory (not problematic hard drive), VGA video recording, dedicated music & gaming keys plus Navi wheel, spring-assisted slide mechanism, and audio quality through 3.5mm jack of N91 to match (as they claim). N95 in comparison to N91, on the otherhand has a really large screen, HSDPA, GPS, 5Mpix camera, VGA video record @ 30fps, TV out, dual slider, dedicated multimedia keys, support for up to 8GB microSDHC cards, and a whole lot of the latest Nseries/S60 features. Lastly, N95 8GB has everything (except the fastest processor) including the large 90MB free RAM, 2.8inch screen, NGAGE, and a whole lot of money. Now, which is which?

Hi ! just bought N91 8GB yesterday, there's something weird in it, everytime i must wait for 5 seconds for the next track to open and play, and sometimes when you plug it in your pc it doesn't found it neither like a removable disk nor than a hardware to install, i must re-start my pc everytime to be able to get connected, i would like to know if someone else is getting the same problem as me, thanks !!!

Leave aside hanging problems.....one thing I need ..(..And I should ) admit is that ..the Musical God is with you ..if you carry a N91 with you...really superbly designed Music features...SE can't even imagine to cope up with...If I would ever wear a hat, It would be off to N91.

Can't open the gallery or the gallery doesn't contain anything even if u store a lot of things in the hard drive? It means your hard drive is corrupted.

Finally after almost 2 years, my N91 4GB has stopped functioning. Call drop, unable to access hard drive and the phone hangs VERY frequently. Can anyone advise me if I should repair the phone or buy a new phone (not Nokia N91) altogether. Thanx.
PS. Anyone planning to buy this phone- don't! It has a very short lifespan.

My Nokia N91 was bought in Jan. 2006. Was working well until the last 2-3 months. Phone frequently hangs, 'hard drive error' messages appear very frequently and now I cannot access my gallery. I'm planning to replace the handset very soon if it is not possible to fix.

Anybody here from the Philippines? N91 8GB price has gone down to around 15K. Before the N91 4GB was 40K plus. That's crazy isn't it? I mean it's a total waste of money to buy a phone on the first day of its release in the market, really a waste of money. With the initial price of 4GB N91, what u could buy now are two N91 8GBs and a N70. Now, I'm not posting as M@T2. L0Lz
