I had this phone since octobar of 2006. it's the worst phone by far i have ever had, and i had many phones, mostly nokia. i got this phone as the present from my girlfriend for my birthday, and that's the only reason i'm keeping it. phone is a disaster. it freezes at least once a day, although i mostly use sms, have about 10 mp3s on it, about 20 pictures and couple of videos. phone will get random memory errors when accessing hard drive and has to be reset (battery out). i have the latest firmware, tried hard reseting 3 times by now, phone memory is used for sms. it's just a piece of sh1t. menu is slow (nokia's issue)

    Hi

I cant help on the kelly Clarkson song sorry. As for the N73 ME versus N91 frequency response is only one thing. If you saw the noise floor, base response, loudness, Signal-to-Noise-ratio etc N91 wins hands down.

              Andy,
I don't think so. Yeah, we all know, as has been presented, N91 has so much better and sweeter sound quality but I don't believe that N73 ME is "far far behind" of it. I mean, an average person would hardly notice the big difference between the sound quality of the two phones, only music enthusiasts who have very very keen auditory sense like that of a cat's. Lol!
No, seriously, there has been some sort of frequency test among phones N91, N73 ME, & N95 and according to the test, N73 ME shows good frequency results or something in comparison to N91. If you don't believe, u may visit the Nseries WOM World website. It's there just find it! Ok?

N73 ME is far far behind than n91 in terms of sound quality,n91 have a special audio chip thats why it sounded great than any other phone.N70 ME,N73 ME,AND most anticipated N95 really sucks by sound quality.I think n91 is one of the phone which delivererd superb sonic experience.N91 ALWAYS RULE.

hi wayne. i have a couple of mp3 files here with bitrate 320kbps, file is around 10mb in size and i have no problem playing them in my n91. but actually i prefer wma with bitrate 64kbps file is around 2mb only in size and sound output is incredibly much clearer & better than mp3 with higher bitrate.

                    Hi Pappy

so i need to put all the MP3`s onto my recently formatted N91 with Version 2 Firmware at 256kbps?
this will STOP the songs from just STOPPING when they are playing?
                    why cant i use 320kbps?
my PC plays them just fine, and my brothers cheap rubbishy MP3 player also plays them no problems?
does anyone here put MP3s onto their N91 at 320kbps with NO problems?
i am using CDEX program with the LAME encoder to do all this

                    thanks

bharat: connect phone to PC using USB mass storage mode(file transfer). In windows explorer go to properties for the disk assigned to the phone. Goto tools and choose defragmentation... Don't forget to plugin charger :) It might take long time.

if u find n91 very problematic & complicated, better get urself a NOKIA N73 MUSIC EDITION. if ure concerned bout audio quality, the N91 maybe ahead but according to the NSERIES WOM WORLD, N73 ME audio quality is not far behind N91. what's more? N73 ME has dual 3D stereo speakers, larger and higher resolution screen display, same music player like the N91 8GB (stereo widening, loudness, album art, visualizations, etc.), better camera w/ flash, secondary video calls camera, 2GB miniSD card. only lacking feature is WLAN, & 8GB hard drive.

The songs which stop automatically are at bitrate 320 kbps. On my N91, they usually stop before 5 minutes. The best way to counter this problem is to download those songs which are at 256 kbps.

                                1) Songs that just stop. This can happen if you a song that is sampled at too high a rate. Songs above 196 bps can cause the sw to hav issues. See the FAQ on the suppot site. Also a song may be corrupted try removing the song and copying it again from your PC. Sometimes songs that play on a PC ca still trip up an IPOD or N91 if there is a slight problem when the song was ripped)

Angelique- There is no way to select a song from themusic library and attach to a contact. As for it freezing when you do too much...if by that you mean you have a bunch of applications all open at once consuming RAM and CPU power then yes eventually it will have hiccups (try opening up 5-6 heavy use programs on your PC and see how it behaves) try closing down apps that you are not currently using.

Joris - it seems to me that the people who you are returning the N91 to as not trying to solve you problem and are just swapping in a new one. It could be that something in your PC environment keeps recreating the problem or it may be as simple as they keep giving you another N91 with the older SW.
*#0000# shows the sw you should have and it should be at least 2.10 or 2.20.
