Does anybody know about the N91 not showing the pictures in its gallery. Although in the File Manager I can see everything. Just in the gallery I can't see the Videos or Photos?

hi back again this will get you to the gist of things,,if you scroll down their is a thread on hdd to start with but browse around till you get wat you want and if anything it brought relief that i have done nothing wrong to my n80 and getting it to a service center is the start of my journey..http://discussions.europe.nokia.com/discussions/board?board.id=smartphones...
BUT that said it can still give you tips tricks and advice..
To persons below i have videos and music from the three network which wont play on my phones because of these conditions which will make any device say UNSUPPORTED FORMAT
1 )drm or any copyrighted mp3 ,,3gp,,3ggpp,,mp4 etc will not play even if its in the correct format the copyright will prevent it playing
2)wrong bitrate,,,,i cant play high bitrate mp4 or 3gp videos on my n80 because the bitrate is too high this can happen to mp3 and thats why all my mp3 are at 128kbp second so i cannot go wrong.
Hope that helps some of you on your way or puts some minds at rest but i am uk so things maybe different for different countrys but you still have rights

to gee 9,,all i can add is its just an upgrade to an 8gb drive just like ive just put 4gb in my p990 from 2gb i cant see any difference youre just bying the same gubbins,, theirs no way nokia will have implemented a bigger prossesser which is true anyway and their is no cam upgrade or screen upgrade its the same package,,ive scouted round a lot of techy websites but i only find the same comments to read the article written about the n91 4gb...You want advice well why not sit back for week and spend your money on somthing else,,i am not going to suggest anything but flash memory is where its going even these umpc are driven by a 32gb memory card and at moment getting satisfaction from k800 with 2gb card in but if its nokia im not going there for a while because iv had the lot and series 60 third edition is too buggy for me personnely and if you love your music maybe a seperate player is the only way,,but the 5700 by nokia is on its way and if you look its has improved processer speed and rom but that still means nothing till its been tested and proper feedback seen..SO you can start reading the forum and whittling down to a few suitable produts and go from there or try a 8gb with a 14 day trial so you can send it orswap it for your second choice thats about it

My N91 4gb has crashed yet again and its now the end of the road for me with it as I'm tired of reloading music every 2 weeks or so because the hard drive has corrupted (latest firmware etc). Nothing comes close to this device when it comes to sound quality and the actual audio levels it produces, its the best sounding portable audio device i've ever set my ears on! (none of the mp3 players i've tried come close, including the best from sony and i-pods etc).
I am planning to invest my money on a N91 8GB but I'm weary as to the problems with hard disk corruption etc and reliability issues in general. Can anyone with the 8gb model advise? £300 is lot of candy!

                    Many thanks in advance,

                    G

No hanging problems for me in a 7 months of N91 usage. Only I wish if it had a stronger battery, but it's tolerable (1-2 days depending of how heavy I use the conectivity and media functions)

i upgraded my n80 and poport moved a bit and now it says contact supplier, but anyway ive had n73 as well plus 6630 and 6680 and so on you get the picture and using s/e k800 at moment and its a breathe of fresh air to use with no bugs crashes,,now that may sound like a s/e fan but have sold p900 for p990 5 months ago and sold p990 for 75 quid because of crashes,,wat i would like people to do is go back to non smartfone for a few hours or 1 day and see wat your missing..I miss my fave series 60 apps but these non smartfones are catching up with toolbars and dedicated area were you can see all your running apps its brilliant..Of coarse i will go back to s/60fones but for now k800 is really good with massive battery life,,also sister has n6131 wich is series 40 and except for no way to adjust britness its full of apps even a scientific calculater + stopwatch wich even in my n73 still was not available and ive sent off 4 emails over a year ago before series60 third edition came out for them to put a stopwatch in but they havent so nokia dont listen

Have it about 2 months. Have just left it in to be repaired. I am very careful with my phone, but the back black cover decided to come away from the front of the phone. I know it is not a real problem yet but looks to be getting progressively worse; dust is getting inside and looks real bad. Camera is very poor in poor light. Slider looks to have some of the plating coming away revealing a black undercoat: resembling a tar spill. Keypad is flimsy in that it moves as you type. All in all for the money I paid I feel it is a cheap handset!

                              @desiree
I dont own a n91 but my friend does. And i have the n70 music edition.
I think the speaker is DAMN LOUD. And of course it has bluetooth, basicly it's the same with the original n91 but with a special keypad dedicated to mp3 player and an additional 8gb memory.

But the thing is my friend after having n91 for about 2 months or so went to sell it and change it for SE W850i. He said that the phone lagged and freezed all the time.

That sounds strange. Perhaps you should try the sw upgrade again?

Seems to me the problem is with the people who sold an servive your N91. The people who dole me my N91 and N91 8GB have been great here in the UK

                                        best of luck
