Pappy,

This smart2go app will work with the Symbian OS v9.1, Series 60 UI 3rd Edition for the N91?

      To Pappy.
I own N91-5.It cost less than N91-1. We have NO 3g AND wifi in our country .I live in asia.
So, it does not bother me.
I am happy with My N91-5.

I have seen this on a BLOG but have not tried it yet.

....please make sure to download http://www.smart2go.com/en/help/maploader

maploader, install on PC, as it will allow you to have local maps and then you can turn off the network access to avoid GPRS roaming cost All maps are free and will fit in N91 nicely due to HDD. Use the Nokia LD-3W GPS unit with it.

        Pappy

let me know if it works well

          Hello Pappy,

Do you or anyone know if there is a GPS app to download onto the N91? If so what is the name of it?

          Thanks

            Hi

            to N91-5 user

N91-1 is for EMEA AND APAC. The first being Blue-Silver, the second being Grey. As they stated on the Nokia discussion board All of the guts of the N91 (they call it an engine?) are made in Finland. The rest is assembled based on where it is being sold (APAC, Finland etc)

The N91-5 is a GSM only version offered in APAC (blue-silver). The N91 (no dash) is a GSm only version offered in China (Grey since China does not allow Wireless LAN and Phones in the same device yet in has no WiLan). I suspect the N91-5 is simply the China -one with a blue-silver cover. It should cost less than an N91-1.

The Spec sheet states clearly ther eis no WLAN and 3G so is your case a case of a shop actually removing the info and charging you the same cost as a N91-1?

Rick, dimension-wise, N91 is obviously bigger, thicker and heavier than N80.

We all know that N91 comes in two variants, the 3G/Wifi-enabled N91-1, and the GSM-only N91-5 without WiFi. Ive learned that N93 also has a twin. But picture this! The more popular & numerous N91-1 (EMEA) was made in Europe (Finland). The infamous N91-5 is the Asian-made (APAC). But the N93, Finland-made (EMEA), & Asia-made (APAC), have 3G & WiFi support. Only the U.S. made N93 is the GSM-only version but with Wifi support. Nokia isn't that gracious to N91-5 users. :(

As mentioned in "Real celebrity" field on this site N91 of 4GB has many weaknesses. the new edition N91 of 8GB is now available, does anybody try it? and how did you find it in comparison with the 4GB?
I think Nokia took into consideration the weaknesses and avoided in the new editions!

                              Hi
                              Pappy,
once again i bought my new n91 today,i sold my n91 and i tried lots of cellphone as well as music phone within this period, but honestly saying no one phone is producing that type of music as n91 produced. I realised and i got my new branded n91 in black color.really n91 is a maserstroke from nokia.no one can compare to n91 quality.

I've had my N91 for a few months now and I have no complaints. It's true the battery life isn't the best on the market, but it's not a great problem. The video quality on the phone is superb (especially the sound) and having the 4gb of memory is great. Sometimes the software does take a little while to load but other than that, it's an excellent phone. To counter some complaints about the phone, I've never had any software problems withy it. I bought it for $AU600 on ebay
