john.. i reckon ur information has not been updated for 2 years already. Look.. Have u seen Samsung Z500? let me tell u, its a 3G phone with the size of 2G phone. K610, it features almost all that is offered in K750 and it is a 3G phone (yet, it is 3 mm thinner). V3X..well this one is pretty big, but still, it is not that big. Look at the size of LG U890, 880, U 8360, U 8330. They all 3G phone, but the size is very acceptable, its not that big, compare to these DINOSAURS (N93+N92+N90)

all 3G phones are almost this size, so complaining about the size when you want a 3G phone is kind of reduntant. Comparing laptops and cellphones is just silly because both are different stuff!
*Note: have you seen phones in HK,Japan etc? their 3G phones are no doubt same size or probably bigger. Its the fashion and its probably required for such size for better viewing of tv/image etc

N93 is about 20x smaller than a laptop and can do much more, so why would anyone choose a laptop over the N93?

this isnt a laptop replacement phone. its more of a media center phone because of its camera, image, video, TV capability.
Nokia 9500 is more of the laptop replacement phone than this.
and these two different phones caters different people with different needs.

sheikh - so you are blamming nokia for not having noble background? they were hardworkers bringing quality in its products and now they are the #1. that comment about nokia backgrounds are really annoying, every company began as a small project. nokia is doing a good work and i hope they keep it. even if they began making paper before... >_>

@Hesus, and what SE phone you have now?
6600 was for very long the best smartphone on the market and N70 is still one of the bests. The only SE competitors are PXXX series and upcoming UIQ 3 phones with P990 on top. Still I'm not sure that I will buy P990 over N93. Touchscreen is not the most important thing for me, in fact I personally don't need it at all.
I will choose N93.

it pretty good...the look is different... usually nokia do either flip(6101)...slide(6280) or candy bar(3310)..now there including rotation..in there design now aswel..i heard that u can watch TV on this whilst on the move..is it true??..

Apart of the high price of this phone you must buy a higher capacity memory card because the amount of memory of video records in VGA quality is very high!
The size of the phone are quite big, but the design is pretty, i hope that nokia makes it in smaller size like samsung or moto, but probably is only a dream because is nokia, the 1st brick maker in the world.
And for sure this model be delayed like N80 to the next year or more!
And a lot of functions but S60?????, why not use a touchscreen like 7710????? or use UiQ like 6708????
UiQ its more practical than S60 because, first of all touchscreen, to control a lot of functions in this phone. S60 is mediocre and complicated OS.
And we hope thats no sluguish like other nokias smartphones!!
