I don't suppose I'll receive an answer to my problem but I thought I would try anyway! The optical zoom on both the camera and camcorder has stopped working. Furthermore the autofocus mechanism is non-functional. I have enjoyed my phone for 15months and I don't want the party to stop!! Perhaps a hard reset may solve the problem. I have no clue. Can somebody help me??

is it me or does this phone doesnt have good 3g signal strength. the 2g signal is working fine.

don't believe the comment that says that you need to reset the factory settings. The zooming sound is NORMAL. You just gotta chech the Nokia N93s review here at the site. There are specific details about it.

When I use the camcorder function and activiting the optical zoom, it's making noise which it caused by the lense movement and the noise also recorded, is it normal?

Hi! Allantooth, I think you have either your phone or its memory card corrupted. Try reformat either one or both of them.

please help me with my n93 phone, i updated it to euro version from asia version 20.0.058 and my phone still hanging, it auto shut off and etc, i cant even use it for a couple of minutes because of this problem.. anyone knew how to fix it, i havent tried it to downgrade to a lower version... alan3t@gmail.com for help, thanks

brilliant fone ,,had it 14 months but you need to get used to it,,some people just slag it off but its a miniature marvel really..
It has always reminded me of japanese fones and is what i would have loved in 2003 and never thought something like this would be built..
Yes i have had restarts and hanging but so does all n-series(have n956gb at moment)but its computer related its how they work,,if you do not like it dont buy its simple as that dont critisize it because you cannot have patience with it,,marvellous device

the photos made with this phone dosen't look like 3 megapixel, it looks like 1.3, bad than nokia 6680

i am using this phone since 17 months and its really been a wonderful piece. the videos are unbelievable. the performance is good. the photos are also very clear.

Dude, what exactly do you mean "the photos dont even look like 3 megapixel, they look like 2" ?
More megapixels doesnt mean that the photo is better quality, it simply indicates the number of pixels in the photo-which determines the SIZE. Quality is depicted by how good the sensor is.

I have been using it for more than 1 year and the performance is not even near when I used it initially. The major problems are the phone hangs the battery doesnt last for more than an hour.
At times the phone restarts on its own. My cell is not made in china or hungary. Its an original one from Finland.
