try to clean the contacts of the battery and the phone with an eraser..and put a cardboard between the battery and the battery cover so that the battery will fit snugly and tight. for a while i thought the phone switching-off thing was software related so i upgraded the software online through the nokia site and it was successfull. but after updating the phone switched-off again so i went the process of cleaning the battery contacts and everything went fine now...with also the latest software installed in addition :-)

hi i need help urgently with my nokia N93,the screen goes white then it restarts,sometimes it just switches off.what can i do to stop this?ive tried updating the firmwire but while i was doing it my phone switched off again!please help...

im usingthis N93 but there are times when im shooting a video theres inly black and white color specially when im taking in night mode ^_^. why is it like that?

this i sgreat phone but i have only one question...is this some software bug or my n93 has solarization effect on internal camera(i can't shut it from options menu)...btw on external camera i cans select that effect only sephia, black-white and negative...pls help

to bassam.n93 is better-have real stereo adio chip/n93i is light,but cuality of sound is not same stereo/the screen in n93i-16mln colors,but dont believe to much-not big difference.and mayor diferense-n93 have 1100mah battery pack againts 900mah n93i.so n93 is heavy ,big,but better-in this mooment n93 is champion for video quality for me,becouse have 3x opt. zoom.for me better than n95video.i have n73,but have fiend whit n93 and have posibility to see clips-only one bad thing see in both n93 and n93i-when optical zoom work-have litle noise-"clik,clik",but quality of video is perfeckt for phone.so my advice is n93.one more thing dont use rubbish minisd cards-buy "sundisk ultra".madpanas

The N93... Well I'm only borrowing this one off a mate and already I've had a few problems regarding performance - the Symbian software is bloody slow but unless you're living under a rock, you probably knew that anyway. The camera functions are pretty poor (Pausing is too slow and unpredictable) and the Carl Zeiss optics are all very well and good but when you zoom, the lens moves and makes a nice clicking jittering noise. The phone mic is good - good enough to pick this sound up... REALLY well. So your video's sound will be ruined. For a phone thats primary function is to be a camera, Nokia, halfway through making it, seem to have lost the plot.
It's a bit too big, the screens a little flimsy, the battery's average and the software is SLOW. On the plus side, the features are good, the speaker is good, the camera quality is great, and I do like the way it folds out into camera mode... but this attributes to the screen flimsyness, so... not sure on that one...
All in all:
Sound and Vision: The video quality is great, the screen is nice, big and bright and the back speaker is excellent. With expansive memory it's potential is very good too.
Form and Function: The phone is let down by its size and the lacking attention to detail in the camera department. Had they made the camera software better and made the lens a little quieter, it might actually have been good at what it was intended for. The size is not so much the issue in camera mode, although in phone mode it's a little on the bulky side.
Camera: As I said, the lens is too loud, the software is too slow and unpredictable, but the quality is excellent with great sound accompanying. Of course the lens will ruin that...
Features: This phone is packed with features. Some useful (Bluetooth, Infrared, 3mp Camera, Expansive memory, PTT Functionality, TriBand, Outside colour screen...) and some not so useful (270 degree rotating screen, lens cap...) The lens cap irritates me most of all. They could have put it on a little piece of string or something... but no, it's free to get lost within 10 mins of getting it out the box...
This phone is probably best suited to the film maker/businessman/gadget freak. A young man/woman who has the bluetooth headset in the ear whilst driving their Merc C Class to a board meeting at the BBC, and on the way home, stop by the pub to impress the ladies with their flash gear.

This is the best Phone, I gave 2 Nokia E50 for 1 N93 and i am happy now with this phone

Any user plz help me? whats the deffer between n93 n N93i. is n93i bettary power is better than n93, n93i output sound is loud as n70 ?

It is definately better than n95 , i even have bluetooth gps and it works fine with nokia maps i ve got all the options of n95 with these great looks!

I´ve had this phone for exactly a year and it´s still going strong! Yes, it´s extremely sturdy and everything still works well.
Only one downside. No more firmware updates available for download. N93i seems to get more attention. Its latest update included bluetooth (cordless) headset app.
N93 is Nokia´s best built phone on the market right now. N95´s are too flimsy..

helloo every one i have this fone since a month and its working good but only i have problem is 3G is not working WHY? my sim is able to make video calls and now in n93 its not working WHY? plz help me i love dis fone dont want to kick dis one ;) im waiting for reply.....

OMDS THIS FONE is do big and meaty its like a camcorder but as a fone thats what temptates the people in the world the new shaped that nokia and other brands of fones cum out with.
