All in all, a decent looking phone. Even if it's the size of a house. I like the idea of a phone that can record DVD-quality, plus the swivelling feature is good.
The N93 also makes an awesome self-defense weapon in case you're ever mugged. Simply bludgeon your attacker to death with it's enormous size/weight.

this is a nice phone i cant keep it off my hands..this phone is wonderful..

What a nice looking, but useless device. I've had the phone for 5 months. It freezes(understandable with the amount of applications), switches itself off, when it likes it restarts itself. The pics taken on the main camera(3.15MegP, higher resolution) are blury. Secondary camera(lower resolution) takes better pics. I go to bed having fully charged the battery, next morning the phone is off, have to recharge. Think i'll try SE now

the n93 can record dvd-like. They never said dvd quality.

Spindo, you are confused. Why would you buy an N93 smartphone for ONLY the videoing?? The N93 is primarily a smartphone, the camcording is a bonus which it does extremely well for a phone. The purpose of the N93 is to carry ONE compact device that is multifunctional because we take our phones everywhere. So as well as calls one can take the impromptu snapshot or video. Conversely, you, Spindo, have two devices to lug around and this is impractical unless you plan to strap your Canon TX1 permanently to your butt.

dear fung,
actually i also have dopod 900 (imate jasjar), so i bought n93 for video thing only and the video result very dissapointed. in my country all advertisement about n93 said that it can record DVD quality but its only one big lie. my canon TX-1 more dvd quality and much more better video result than this expensive n93. so i sold it.
actually i also compared the video result to my nokia E70 and it has better result although e70 only 15fps.
the only best about n93 is the camera result is the best among any other mobile phone (i also compared camera result with k800i).
so i give advice if anyone want to buy n93 or n93i and dont bother to take 2 gadget ,better buy cheap mobile and canon tx-1 which best for video and camera.

Spindo, you have missed the point entirely. The N93 is a multimedia device. An all-in-one mini-computer that has a plethora of capabilities. It shoots videos to a reasonable standard. Your Canon Powershot cannot make calls and your cheaper phone will not have the high standard of internet facility which includes WLAN. You made a mistake selling your N93.

The phone isn't good.I bought it last month and it has got a problem.The camera of my n93 give bad images.After China had started to make Nokia phones the quality of Nokia phones had become bad.

i just sold my n93 4 days ago. first i bought this phone only for handycam-thing, but i really upset with the zeiss video result but after i saw CANON POWERSHOOT TX1 which video and camera result and PRICE way much better than n93 i decided to sell my n93. canon tx1 i bought only us$406 and amazing video result for SD-camera class. i think the best for SD-class (way much better result than n93 and even the expensive sanyo xacti HD-1).
so if you guys want to buy this phone just for the video and zeiss thing i think you should forget it and better buy cheap mobile phone one (around us$150) and buy canon tx1.
