I just got N95, though someone said it can take up to 8GB microSD or even 16GB. But GSM arena said it can take up to 8GB microSD, while Nokia said 2GB max. I never tried any but i think i have gotten myself one of the best phone. I used it and i think is great mostly the pics output.

I perchased and n95 and I Will never give it up, i did get the newer battery for it, but this phone can do anything.
the human eye can only see 5MP anyway this camera is sweet.
I even tried the iphone, but this is a whole 'nother level

it defeats the main purpose and use of this phone,
better sell that n95 of yours and get a simpler phone instead

I was thinking about it last nigh... moreWell, what can I say, as a videographer taking shots of properties for sale, at first I'm carrying my 35mm & 40mm cams then I ended up with this unit, when I tried it at first I was astonished by the pix as they are about the same quality (maybe a lot lower!LOL) when used in a well lighted environment and the plus is that I can easily upload the photos right there and then, so for now I shelf the 2 cams and since the unit is multi-purpose, I only have to carry this one. Cheers!

I was thinking about it last night... Because I noticed I'm starting to carry around my iPod and Exilim 6MP camera again. As a music player, i think the N95 can't compete with the iPod. As a camera, it won't be able to compete with a real dedicated camera with optical zoom and a good flash.
It's a jack of all trades phone. You can do a lot of things with it. but if you are going to be serious about your music or your pictures, then get a dedicated device for it.
That's my take on it anyway. What will I trade my N95 for? Hmmm... a bunch of other gadgets and a heavy duty utility belt. :D

China N95, 18 Dec 2008Dun buy it fr there ..... china manufacture their own n95 .... moreYeah, there are imitation N95 (among others) coming from China. But what we are really talking about here are N95s (real ones, not copies or imitations) that are manufactured in China.
Mine is made in China. I think it's all about logistics, as one poster pointed out. If you are in ASPAC, then you most probably will get a phone from China. If you are in EMEA, then chances are it's going to be Finland. YMMV.
China made, Finland made. Should be the same, if we trust Nokia to ensure the manufacturing process and the quality control are up to the same standards.

As long as the imei number is registered with nokia it's legit! Doesn't matter from china or finland!

I have some problem before like the hanging issues, but it only occurred once or twice, then somehow it went back to normal, I can't remember what I did or if I upgraded the firmware at that time
Then I dropped the unit about a foot high a month ago and now the casing has a creaking problem, but I don't blame that to Nokia, it was my bad all the way! LOL

Panfilo, 18 Dec 2008Somebody please help! I cannot for the life of me get Nokia... moreI fired up my Maps... Asked if I want to go online, I said yes. It said No internet conenction. I had to define an access point first for the wifi, then went to settings and chose that access point. Then I went to map mode, selected Satellite (to get the satellite pictures) and started zooming down. Automatically downloads maps.
Don't choose hybrid. It sucks.
