sir the rock, hmm I dont wanna be negative about this but, If I am not mistaken the main network frequency of the n95-3, err...is quite different to that of the configuration of the n95-1
In theory, it might mess up your phone if you try to update it via pheonix, downloading the version 30 for n95-1.
hmm I'd suggest we will have to wait for the version 30 to come to the U.S.
hmm will search about it later...will post if there are any news about this sir...

Unsure if i can update my n95 to ver 30. My n95 is from china but it is a legit n95.
I have ver 21 now. Besides rotate me, what are the other advantages of ver 30. Did nokia fix the a2dp glitch yet?

i am still trying to find ways to upgrade my n95 from firmware version 20 to 3o.
according to the nokia website after entering the product code, the only available firware for my n95 is 20. nokia usa don't know sh!t of the availability of the firmware 30 in the US. nokia europe/asia/etc are ahead of nokia usa.
if you guys can help me, it will be awesome.

I think it's good. What about the 64 MB RAM? I think it's too small. I love Kheng.

thats a normal finding dear sir/maam hehe in verions 20 and above, when you slide the phone down it no longer automatically launches the "multimedia menu" or what you seem to call "interactive scrolling screen"^_^ but only rotates the phone horizontally
why this is so? Well I guess nokia must have opted for that because it seems majority of the users when they slide down already are in the music area or are in the gallery, hence no need to launch the multimedia app already

I use to be able to slide my phone to show the Play/Stop buttons and the screen would flip to landscape view and the interactive scrolling screen would appear. Ever since i did a Software update it doesnt do it anymore. the screen still flips to landscape view but nothing else. can anyone help please?

you right daniel, 3.2 doesnt exist. I installed 2.2 is better the 2.0? i instaled nokmote and google maps, impresive and exact Im still dont know how to use it without internet with wifi the more interesting as MOBITUBIA powerful to connetct ans search in youtube, snd lotsd of options , jaja is very fun to have more than 20 apps in my phone and Im gping for more I think Im gonna need a 4g memory. card, mine is 2, I try to install dvix but I have to change the date of my phone to 2006:s. I cant install smart movie.

..of all the expensive nokia series..n95 is a disappointment.
but when it was released, i thought it was the greatest phone ever. but then eventually it kinda gets boring.
..it's light which i hate the most. PLASTIC is JUST NOT MY THING.
..i find the sony ericsson experia x1 more overwhelming.

welcome back carloud ..well I made some bad things :P update n95-3 to v20. and then hack the phone and instaled rotate me and that old version doenst work as I thinked , i instaled a rotate me 3.2 but doest charge maybe cause i need to uninstall the 2.0 version who can tell me that? I installed some games and other things like gthemes but can somebody recomend me cool apps for n95? by the way when I hack it it crash lots of times, but I m happy it works..and my battery life is the same good 2 or 3 days :, I think Im able to learn more about this arsenal, even forgot ericsson and iphone exist. sorry for my english.

dRaven, 16 Nov 2008I think somebody took us for a joyride, the latest version ... moreN95-1 has v30. N95-3 (NAM release) has v20 or v21 i think. Not interchangeable.
And yes, the n95-3 would have a better battery life than the n95-1, as it has a different battery, 1200 i think, rather than the 950 the n95-1 is stuck with.
