wow it seems sir daniel has the application you need sir therock ^_^

      hehehe

      btw...

about the restarting problem, seems like it has something to do with the battery

dont know how or why, but whenever I use a "class A"

battery....sometimes (though very rare) either restarts or...turns off

but whenver I use a genuine one....no hanging restarting whatsoever hehehehe ^_^

it doesnt necessarily mean that problems only occure remotely on "fake-ish" batteries...these problems could happen to genuine ones...

though I am unsure what could be the problem with the battery...but what I am sure of is whenver I use my genuine battery, never restarted ever

but once I use my class A battery

there are times....actually only happened to me 3 times in about 6 months of use...

soemtimes my phone just turns off or restarts on its own...

It seems that even the popular N95 has auto-restarts and hanging problems. My N93 is like that too. Why?

Giz, 06 Nov 2008software often freezes and needs rebooting the phone. Inter... moreDear Giz,

I do agree with you about the reebooting stuff. At some times it is quite annoing especially if you are transmitting bluetooth messages to your friends and oyur phone thinks that its time to reboot.

I have my phone for 1 and a half months now and i never experienced screen lighting problems. And I hope I never will.

Other than that I'm very happy about my phone in any circumstaces. The software is very fast comparative to other Nseries phones.

I installed garmin navigator gps program and itz workong perfectly just like a normal stand alone gps would.

The music player is very fast even with the 4 gb card in it.

In conclusion I'm very happy with it.But like every thing in this world it has a downside.
The reboot habbit and the short battery life ar the most annoing cons.

dotsis and lebmobile are great alternative download sites ehehhe

Mr pepsi, thats the point...this phone is never outdated, even with the 8gb version or n82 came upn95-1 still holds its own heheh

with the way you post, it could also be reverted back to you into...why bother posting in this forum with that kind of logic?

just because new phones are released doesnt make old ones outdated

and even if the time comes it becomes outdated, doesnt mean it is unuseable, doesnt mean it makes it less likeable...

in other words...it is up to ones own choice...

if you are the kind to want to buy new models every now and then so be it...please do buy the new ones which satisfies you the most...but you dont have to annoy other people who arent as "up to date" as you are in the process.

Just because you see something as inferior doesnt make it a fact...

if it is in your opinion that this phone aint worth your slack, then we respect that...

but please dont post your opinion repeatedly, it doesnt make you a genius by doing so...more like annoying

and to answer your question, not everyone can afford the phones you suggest...And if it is not obvious enough

there are still some advantages that the n95-1 has over the 8gb

please look into the nokia forum of the gsmarena for more info...

But I actually want T9, but i don't want it learning and changing the order of words when i press * to get the next word that matches. This was how it was in previous S60 phones. Makes me able to type really quickly. Now i have to check each word when using T9. Effect? I don't use T9 much. I write faster using multi-tap.

fluker., 06 Nov 2008i heard that this phone had a few problems. what are these... moreSo far, after having my phone fixed from an overheating IC, i have no complaints so far. sure, it restarts every once in a while (once every four or five days?), but i think i was abusing it during the times it did. I mean, i had way too many applications running (music player, messaging, contacts, a game, etc.), having gotten used to switching between applications.

Ok, minor complaint, the way T9 functions. it rearranges the word list so that the more frequently used is selected first. i always get annoyed cause i have to check whether i have typed "of" or "me". Anyone knows how to turn this off, like in the old nokia t9? workaround, go multitap.

Also, the way music player silences the music for an incoming message. i already have it in silent mode, and vibrating alert, so i don't need an audible reminder that an sms has been received. workaround, get a third party music player.

Major gripe: battery life. 'Nuff said.

Other than those, perfect phone for me. Not gonna be replacing it soon (this from someone who is a confessed gadget freak).
