Then I got the nokmote. Haha i enjoy playing Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart using the phone as the steering wheel... much like the experience i had with the iphone! can't wait to get home, hook the phone to the tv, play CBNK on TV using NokMote. Try that on an iPhone! Haha!

RotateMe 2.0 is way better then the auto rotate that is built-in in v30. i use RotateMe 2.0 not the built-in auto rotate. RotateMe 2.0 works more smoother

i don't have much apps on the n95 that uses this sensor, just the inclinometer from DrJukka and the auto rotate that is built-in in v30. Even with the rotate, it doesn't detect that it's already upright when held at an angle, the normal position it is at when sending an sms. I have to shake it a bit to change orientation. how do you find it?

Auto rotate is fun at first, but annoying as hell as you use it. i've since turned it off.

luisito, 04 Nov 2008 of course it works better than iphone , n93, n80, ericso... moreTry this site (copy the link and remove the spaces. Sorry for the inconvenience, gsmarena munges hyperlinks and directs it back to this site)

                http: // thenokiablog.com/ 2007/ 05/ 12/ how-to-update-firmware-debranding-andor-change-language-pack-on-the-nokia-n95/

You need to download NSS and you need to have the data cable (which i assume you already have cause you were able to run the nokia software updater but it did not detect a suitable upgrade for you.)

Try the product code 0534841. This is Euro-1, unless you have specific language needs, in which case select the one for your country.

Stay away from operator specific product codes, but that is my opinion. You mileage may vary.

i also do have the iphone 3g but got bored with it due to the camera not having a powerful flash so i got the n95, which i prefer because i want an all-in-one device...camera, internet, and phone. also the n95 is easy to navigate and hold with one hand.

eric, i know the sensor you are talking bout. the bowling game on the iphone requires that you swing the iphone as if it is a bowling ball.

therock, 03 Nov 2008carloud, daniel, and the n95 users. Do you ever go the t... moreI was able to play around with an iphone my boss got from globe as a loyalty reward. It was nice, graphics/touchscreen is very responsive. there was a racing game there that uses the accelerometer so that you can steer the car by tilting the phone left and right. it was good, very responsive. I think the n95's accelerometer is not that fast, having used some applications that utilizes it.

other than that, everything else seems ok, not great or outstanding. i'll stick to my n95 and wait for a 32gb microsd so i can put all my music in here. i only have a 2gb as of the moment.

i did have to scrounge around the net to have the hanging/reset behavior fixed. and this is not a bootlegged phone, this was a loyalty reward from globe, one of the biggest telecoms here. so i'm pretty sure it's original.

                                    heheh

sir therock-If you ask me....In my case, I am just happy for them that they are satisfied with their phone,

as we are satisfied with what the n95 gives us

we really dont need to discourage them from buying Iphone as it is their choice, if they are going to be happy buying an iphone then so be it...it is what they want after all

I have no qualms against iphone as I personally only have 'tested" it...quite a good phone yes...but it really lacks alot that a 'tech geek" would crave for

so to us n95 is the best to us, just as Iphone is the best to them

as long as they are not stepping beyond the "boundary" like trolling and spamming this board(n95) about Iphone stuff... then I guess we should stay cool hehe

dont take mr pepsi's post too seriously...seems he has been "trolling" this boards for quite some time now

hopefully hell be finally happy with whatever phone he is using so that he wont post such stuffs in this board anymore

I suggest you upgrade your firmware asap
