I am happy 2 read all your opinions, but really this was my worst experience ever with a mobile phone like the N95. i got it and i just used the mobile for 2 months then i was surprised that the screen burnt.moreover i found that the mainteneance center for the mobile doesnt fix the mobile at egypt as GPS is banned for defensive issues. moreover i didnt complete 4 more months and the same problem came back again. i paid 500$ to fix this mobile + its original cost. :-(

Does Anyone knows how to turn the camera sound off??? when u take pictures and press the picture button, the sound goes off and I want it to be off, any idea? please reply

No it's not your phone i have the same problem like you and i have the 30 firmware version and my phone i have it for 7 months and i worked on a phone shop and there i try an other phone and the same thing,the only way is to put a powerfull batery like the n95 8giga has the 1200mah.

Hi. Got to ask a queation. My N95 always showing full batt indicator for 2 days after charging. that really make me happy. but on the 2nd day, when im play songs or videos, the batt bar immadiately goes to one barr. and of course the warning tone appear (battery low). I think the batt indicator kinda 'stuck' to full bar battery indications. what is the problems? is it the batt or my N95? im using firmware v21. im afraid that i was cheated by the dealer that saying it is the original battery pack. im bougt it 2 month ago..plaese help me...TQ

nothing is wrong with receiving and sending text on my n95. what i meant was, is there an application for entry text to make typing letters easier and convenient?...like a quickwrite or something?

did anyone knows how the maps work on it? I already install maps application 2.0 but it works only upto a little zoom. after that it just blur the screen.

hmm about the faster texting, err...I dunoo about that but there is a downloadable application at nokia.com which enables the sms sending faster...for n70 and n90 I think?
well in my case, I dont notice any lags in sending sms hehe...I thought sending sms on a smartphone can not get any faster with the n95hmm maybe its just me or there may be some sort of a problem in your unit perhaps?
anyhow, there is also a downloadable "rotateme" for the n95 there but it is unsigned you need to sign it hmm...sir daniel knows how you can sign your applications
I will try to find the link of the chinese website that lets you sign your applications on your own...
hehe oh btw...the new firmware for the n95 (version 30) lets you have automatic screen rotation of the n82!!!! No need to have rotateme...
though in my opinion, "rotateme" is better as it is more responsive, and can rotate when you tilt the phone to left or right heheheh!
unlike the built in automatic screen rotation, which can only rotate to the left....
