I installed oxford dictionary previously and then I uninstalled it. If I install it now it gets installed but I couldn’t find the icon in the application folder or any where else. Can any one let me know what’s wrong please?

my personal and also at least 4 of my friends' experinces with the n95 has been anything but sweet. sure it has all the awesome funictions that you want but that would be great if the phone actually did its job and WORKED. it has glitches in it. it will turn off at any given time (msging, sending or recieving, surfing the net, listening to music, gps, anything) i got it sent away to be fixed and they couldnt fix it. and now im in the middle of an insurance claim and they tell me that they dont make the phones anymore can't repair it at all. so this means for YOU if you're looking to buy it, that if by chance you need to make an insurance claim, you're not going to get the phone back. i also went through vodafone and i wouldnt suggest it. they are dogs. they have hardly helped me at all. all in all. stay away from the n95.

n85 is really improved version not only of n95 but of n81 and otther previous slider phones. no more wobbles, no more creaks, no more loose slider, no more cheap plastic that easily gets scratched on n85. sound quality now is one of the best, support for a standard usb charging, more ram, better dual led flash, 3.5mm jack conveniently placed at the top, lock switch key on the right side as opposed to n91 n81 n96's inconvenient placement at the top, slimmer dimension, new screen technology that reproduces more realistic picture quality, improved user interface, faster processor, higher capacity battery, better power management... so everything is improved on n85. it's the perfect nokia slider. n85 starting price is same as n81's starting price so it won't be that much expensive compared to the initial price of n95, n95 8gb, n96. n85 is the evolution of nokia's previous slider phones. it's more close to being perfect.

adrian11, 17 Sep 2008@j1r i don't own this phone but i m thinking to get this..... moremy advice is buy the one that you prefer since both the n85 and n95 are almost have similar features...better yet...also consider the n96.

saying that everything is improved is kinda an exaggeration

specially when the price is going to be very high and the n95s price will surely go lower...

about the oled screen of n85...it seems it isnt really as great as it sounds, as in gsmarenas opinion they said that they prefer the tft screens a bit more specially in good daylight....

though in mobile review it was highly praised...

so all in all its still a mix bag

the best thing that the n85 has over the n95 is the great graphics of the O.S. and better battery life

              Afternoon all,
Since going abroad I've lost the ability to have message alerts and alarm tones on my N95.
When I go into settings the only options I have are "download sounds" and "off". There is also no option to change them by going into the music player.
Does anyone have any idea how to get the options back (I don't have the ability to download files from the internet, work computer).
              Thanks very much.

adrian11, 16 Sep 2008ohh sorry guys wish to know something about this phone too?... more@adrian11

"does this phone has sensor for auto rotate?"
yes this phone has built-in accelerometer..

if you have already an N95, IMO..its not good to buy N85 coz it is almost the same in features..
but..if you don't have N95 and want to buy a new phone..N85 is definitely my choice...

you can use "App. Mgr." (application manager) to uninstall any application that you installed to your S60 phone.

                                    default location:

                                    Menu>Application>App. Mgr.

                                    hope that helps your problem...
