daniel, 12 Sep 2008the n95 has 2 ARM 11.332 MHz CPU processors and the n82 h... moren82 and n95 both have the same dual core arm 11 tiomap processor running at 332mhz with 3d graphics hardware accelerator. n82 has an advantage over n95 because it has 128mb ram as opposed to n95-1's 64mb ram only.

nokia wants to you buy the nokia brand thats why they say that i got a prise off nokia in australia for and 8GB memory card and they wanted $125 so i went to ebay and got and 8GB Sandisk for $48 thats $77 saved and Sandisk memorys card are better then the nokia memory

I called the nokia hotline and the representative that i talked mentioned that the memory card should have the nokia brand printed on bold white letters in order for the phone not to reboot. other memory card brand names are not compatible.

Hi Daniel is good to share this information with you and tahank u for your feedback, maybe you are right my memory is Sandisk, question, which version of N95 you have, because mine is de US version. I will try other memory brand and keep u informed...

help!! Is it natural and common for the sliding mechanism to loosen after the phone is used? My n95 has this minor problem. The sliding mechanism works fine and smooth. When it is up, it stays up....etc. Please advise.

ei if the processor of the phone is the thing which is incapable of handling large datas such as 8gigbyte
how come sony ericsson is shipping 8 gigabyte memory cards in their new walkman phones?
there processors are only clocked at a single core 220mhz cpu
n95 has dual 330 mhz cpu with 3d accelerator
theoretically n95 is capable of handling even more than what n96 (which by default, already has 16gb) could handle simply because it has a more powerful processor(though n96's processor is battery friendly than the TIOMAP line...)

Why is that? and also ther were several times that the phone would say insert sim card. the sim card is already in the phone....why is that?...It is annoying.

Alex, 11 Sep 2008hi for all who wants to put a 8gb hc micro sd on the n95 be... morehi Alex there must be somthing wrong with the card i have a 8GB card in my phone i have like over 100 full music video about 500 songs and over 100 pictures and my phone work fine no reboot it depends on what you have running when you go to watch a video or play a song if the RAM is low the phone is going to run slow i always try to have around 29MB free of RAM and the phone runs fine people say the memory cards make it run slow i have had a 1,2,4,6, and now 8GB card and there is no differents and when the 16 and 32GB card come out i going to get them and there should still be no differents so go and get a new card or somthing to see if it is your card

..i dun think thts tru..im usin a 8gb micro sdhc n it duzn lag nor duz it make the fone slo or anythin..n btw,n95 processors r up2 it 2 make an 8gb micro sdhc card work..ovcourse ur firmware has 2b gr8er than v20 or above..

hi for all who wants to put a 8gb hc micro sd on the n95 be aware of that. My n95 is the US version with the lastest firmware and just work great but when you use a 8gb it will run so slow when u try to open the galery. I used to have like 5gb in music and 1gb in the galery (like 80 photos and 3videos). The music player runs fine, but the galery runs very bad sometimes when u try to open a photo the phone reboot or takes like 1 minute to open. When u try to open a video after the minute u have to wait it runs with continues pause so u have to repeat it if u want to watch it like it should be. My recomendation is to use the n95 with 2gb memory if u want to runs smooth. Remember that the micro SD HC needs faster procesor than the one u have on ur n95. Cheers...
