i got my provider to put a block on my internet use but then i couldn't get my gps to connect.
an i have option on never use network but it still charges you at the start up of the maps app

i like to download those variety show or soccer matches video, transfer to N95 and watch it on bus or train on the way back home. many ppl will move their head over and watch it too...whahaah...i dont mind..

Daniel. Agps won't work with all cell companies. If you think you might be charged data from your cell provider for agps then have your provider put a block on your internet use for your phone number. Or go to maps then option then settings then network. There will be an option there to use network or never use network.

@kaustav. In order to activate your gps for the first time or renewing you need a wi fi source. After you have paid for your navigation then you might need to download the voices thru wi fi as well. The download for voices is free! When you want to use navigation you don't need a wi fi source then unless you use assisted gps which uses data from the cell towers. I don't recommend this because of the extra cost and lock on's are good enough without agps! Go onto maps then option then extra services. You will need a credit card. Any other questions just ask! Maps for your area must also be downloaded onto your phone via nokia map loader from your computer!

Hi there, can anyone please tell me if they have trouble with the outcome of indoor photos?
When i print them out they seem to have very faint lines through them.
Also, when I look through the lens (before you take a pic) theres lots of vertical lines going up and down the screen (especially with close objects)
Is this a fault??
Can anyone help me!!

i have this phone for 6 months now and overall performance of this phone is good and very fast no hang ups and other software problems the only major upset to me with this phone is that some of its parts are easily broke of specially the battery cover and the memory card window and take note the parts are hard to find original parts are not available at nokia stores..i'm disposing my phone..better build stronger phones nokia..and have some parts..

UNNECESSARY USER OPINIONS
Let me be definitive in this question to the ONE and OTHERS that always said CHEAP PLASTIC covers to Nokia phones.
What are the merits and demerits of Plastic & Metal in relation to the production of GSM Mobile Phone?
Most people are not having the phone to see the quality of the plastic but to criticised unnecessarily. This is too bad.

just noticed lately my n96 bcuz of its cheap plastic exterior the slide isnt as smooth as wen i first got it plus am starting to get creeky noises whilst doing so. shame the materials on nokias are always plastic mainly and feel so cheap other than that love the features and the screen size is amazing still

buy the n95 8gb.. its screen size is fantastic.. you will enjoy the games,videos, pictures, etc.. with the n95 8gb.. plus you dont have to buy memory card coz it is 8gb..

Hi I am going to buy a phone tonight but don't know if the N95i is worth the extra money over the N95 the only real difference I can see is that The N95i or 8gb has 8gb of memory but I have an 8GB card I can put in the N95 is there anything else I should know that would tell me to get the 8GB over the standard N95
