    @ Sandi
You say you can't get anything done because the light goes off after 10 seconds... But if you were doing something you would be constantly touching the keys so it wouldn't turn off... Get what i'm saying? The longer that light stays on the more battery the phone will use, and let's be honest the N95 doesn't have great battery life to begin with. Also, as a uber smart N81 user while playing with my phone i found the option the make the backlight stay on for longer. May i suggest actually having a look at your phone before coming here and distressing the uber l33t people?

I love my n95 8gb phone so far, but the one thing I don't like is having to keep hitting a button to turn the back light when looking at the screen for more then 10 seconds or so. Any one know how I can change it so it goes off when I want it to or at least stay on long enough to get anything done before it goes off.

The phone was too bulky and the battery didnt last more than 3/4 of the day even with latest firmware. I didn't really like texting with this device due to the small closely spaced bottons. And sliding it open and closed to text was a real pain for a texter like me. On the other hand, it has excelllent features and the organization inside the phone was really great! Awesome phone but not my type :)

I am upgrading real soon and thinking about getting the N95. My only question is if I buy the N95-3 US Version, will it still work in Europe and Asia? I know the US version does not come with 2100Mhz anymore, so will it work. Plus what is a better deal, signing up for a monthly service or pay as you go, Europe in particular???

Main difference is: you do not need a Garmin anymore, and the maps are free. All the maps are available via the Nokia Maploader app. You can download a particular country, or just do all the world if you have 4GB or more on the phone. Priceless. You do have to pay for Nokia for voice navigation service, about £7/month or £60/year. A lot cheper than a Garmin.

if you don't use GPS it's about a day, and if you use it then it's about 4 hours.

                                Hi all,

Nokia N95 is a great phone, lots of fantastic features and the runs much faster & smoother compared to the N73. It is the type of phone that you have to use for over a week before realizing that Nokia have gone a long way to intergrate all features and pay attention to minor detail. This unit gets two thumbs up.
