i don't know why I don't see any of the problems mentioned by the others with my N95-3.
Have you upgraded the software?
Do you turn of blue tooth, GPS when done?
mine is lasting 2-3 days with average usage of all the features. I've nver seen anything better than that.

I bought the N95-1 in march an damaged my screen an luckly i got a email from Nokiablog about Nokia releasing the N95-3 an i definetly wanted one an bought on,the Build is unbelivable theres no wobbling about at all an more solidly built,the batterylfe on my first N95 got me really annoyed with it an charging it everyday,but the N95-3 as the 12mah battery on it an last 2-3 days some times an can now listen to my music or radio on my mobile without worrying about the battery,the back on the N95-3 is like the Black 8gb one with no camera lens cover but this is were i find the only bad part on my N95-3 Nokia as used a soft cushioned material that marks easily so i keep inside a case i have to look after it,theres a Brown N95-3 available in the plastic material but i keep looking on the net for some fascia sets but had no luck yet,Nokia should have made the N95-3 the N95 available an they would have sold billions its Brilliant i promise you

Hi ppl, i'm in India. Just confirmed from Nokia at India that V20 firmware is not available and there is no official replacement battery for N95 till date. GPS must be used by gprs! No gprs, no accuracy and usage of maps. Very disappointed as i'm about to get myself a 2nd-hand N95 soon from my bro in a weeks time. Looks like map is nothing without gprs! Any comments on this GPS tech? Thanks all.

i also think most people underestimate the importance of realplayer on this phone.
its a must have for all us footy fans!
we can stream football commentry from the BBC which i do every saturday :D

We all know this phone has a barcode reader right...
well Nokia have made an application for the camera that translates text!
you just focus the camera on foreign writing (menus or something) and it translates it!
i saw it in the newspapers.

the battery life is pathetic,the programmes freeze and the phone turns off for no apparent reason.quite frankly its the worst phone i have ever owned

Nokia N95 is totally WASTE. Music effect is very poor and camera clarity also bad its not worth for money. Battery life is less than one day. I am highly disappointed with this model. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz dont buy this model friends. Thank U

u can rotate screen without using rotateme
i tell u procedure
open ur full slide then open the camera cover then press gallery button then the close the camera cover .it will convert ur screen. land to potrait.without using any software like rotateme

For those that purchased N95 for a cheap price and was declared to be made from China..you have to check for the phone's software version in the phone itself not the manual, I forgot hoew to do it but you have to dial something on the phone. It would show if the phones has certified software or OS from Nokia.

I have N95 for last 2 months. This is the best phone I ever had.
Is it possible to change the name on the front screen from "Camera" ( what i have it on my phone ) to read as "Camcorder" ?
Can someone please guide me !

Yes, almost every cheap N95 phone sold in Greenhills is a clone. In other words, an exact replica of the original model.
If I were you, I'd rather lash out a few bucks for an original Nokia phone than have a phone with degraded quality and software issues (ie. hang-ups).
I also noticed that camera quality of an original N95 is a lot better than that of a cloned N95. The cloned one looks like N73 with 3MP resolution rather than 5MP resolution.
But then again, it is your choice. If you want to compromise quality, then buy the phone.
I once was a N95 user. I replaced it with a N82 a few weeks ago. That's coz I prefer 'candybar' phones over 2-part phones.

Whatever u do,pls don't buy N95 china clone,not the same like original,big difference.Trust me,better buy N70 or N73 than N95 china clone.I prefer N95-1 than N95 8GB,that's what i'm using now,i'm even using it commenting here.Because N95-1 has slight higher resolution than N95 8GB.Why?To avoid fuzzy n unclear on larger N95 8GB 2.8 inches screen.It still has the same 240x320 resolution.And it doesn't have camera lens cover.Different is it can play N-Gage games and longer battery life.The choice is yours,if use N95-1,update the firmware as it improves handling n battery life.

hey guys,
had my N95 for about 4 months now and it rocks, i was pissed the 8gb version came out 4months into my 2yr contract by hey you cant win them all
people are talking about how the iphone is going to revolutionise the mobile industry lol how can apple do that when nokia the worlds biggest mobile phone company has been doing that for 15 years
n95 is the device that revolutionised the industry last year so how can the iphone do it when its offering a built in ipod? ohh and touch screen? ohh and a below par search and internet engin?and its only 2g.. i work in telecommunications and have an iphone model instore and its dosnt compare to the iphone feature wise but it does have the n95 over the barrel in looks
