just sold my n95-1 and bought the N95-3 US 3G version. The battery is much better and the 128mb of ram they stuffed in works great. the phone runs smoother and faster overall. no more memory full error messages. so far so good

don't know why people buy N series when it always hangs and make you wait for years to do a simple thing. :(

PEOPLE please. IF you spend this much money on it and you like the n95 but are upset because of the battery, just buy an extra battery and keep it with you fully charged of course, or buy a car charger if you drive. i don't have all these battery issue's and i use it a fair bit during the day. you have to expect that a phone that has all these features if used a lot during the day will wear down on the battery, so JUST POP IN A NEW FULLY CHARGED BATTERY.

HI,
i have had this phone since it first came out. I was so excited about it but very quickly got disappointed. The phone has many many excellent functions but i am on my 5th handset with problems. i just wanted to have a phone i could speak to people on and unfortunately either i cant hear them or they cant hear me!!!
The battery life is short, but then again it doesnt take long to charge either. Mine kept connecting to the internet of its own accord, and also turned itself on and off whenever it felt like it.
Im gutted cos i liked the phone if only it worked as a phone, but i am giving up and my contract company are allowing me to switch handset. i'm hoping sony ericcson is a litle more reliable.
I hope this helps some people make decisions

Ladies and Gentlemen, I've got my hands on my brand new shiny N95. However, I am disappointed with the battery performance. It can last for a bout one day if you do not use the phone. Once you use it or make use of the MP3/radio functions, the battery runs out very quickly. The scenario that explains this better is "take an iced cube and drop it in hot water" That is how woeful the N95 battery is, you get the idea. It is really disappointing. How can I pay such an amount of money to get this phone and still not be able to use it. Do not get me wrong, it is a brilliant phone, but with a battery like that, I will not buy anymore like that or recommend it to any one. Considering the price and status of this phone, Nokia should release a very high capacity NOW without delay. If I was Nokia marketing manager, I will be looking into this seriously otherwise SonyEricsson is going to steal the show. They seem to release phones with very good batteries. My wife uses SE and she is always laughing at me with my so called Highend N95. Please Nokia and Nokia managers you must do something about this or your market share is going to dramatically drop.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!
I've had my phone for 3 months now... the worst phone I've ever had! It hangs between applications, batt' life is approx 6 hours, it turns itself off, drops my blue tooth car kit, sooooo slow, think the sliding option both ways is cool?? ... now it not only opens when you take it out your pocket but also when you put it in your pocket!! Flimsy as all hell.
All that bad you might think?? No, it has one good feature - takes very good pictures!! So I bought a mobile phone that is now in use as a small camera!!! Nice one!!!
