JZNR,

Yes video steaming can be done in landscape mode. You just have to go into the dual slider mode in order to do so. As for conference calling, I think that depends on your provider, but I know for sure you can do 3 way calling.

Hsdpa works like a dream on the vodacom network - wow :) My friends were all around me asking what cell is that to enable my laptop to download so fast while on a work outing, remote from any internet connection. This phone is amaizing - just give it a try. Now a 8gig version is on the way too. No wonder Nokia is nr. 1

I have been looking for the right phone since January and waited for the iPhone results. N95 is it. I have checked all the reviews and other available phone functions. I have two questions left. Can video streaming be oriented to landscape? In Nokia's tutorial, it only shows portrait.
Other question - is conference calling an option?

        To ptRf,
If you work for Vodafone can you ask them to stop branding their phones that’s what causes the problem in the first place.

Sorry, I meant to say they insist on LED flash when they know it is inferior to Xenon.
Incidentally does anyone know when Flash Lite 3 is coming out... apparently one will be able to watch YouTube videos on it.

Erik, it is not Nokia's policy to place Xenon flash in a cell phone. Nokia can be very stubborn: they insist on Xenon flash when they know it is inferior to LED! They insist on a cheap TI GPS chipset when they know it is inferior to Sirf Star III. If Nokia wanted to improve the flash or the GPS they would have done so in the new N95 8GB but their stubborn nature precludes improvement. Besides it is clear that Nokia feel that the other features are first class and compensate for the flaws in the phone!
JKr5, the BL6F 1200mAh battery will not fit in this phone!
Jameski, the N93 is more expensive than the N95 because it is built with higher quality materials. Furthermore the N93 has optical zoom which is an expensive feature to implement. It records video in stereo sound-the N95 does not do any of these!

Hi guys, just to say something about this phone...the features are amazing,it has everything the conection i perfect sound great, display great, camera great for a day time(not for night)but its still little bit slow, and the hardvare is too PLASTIK,the slide mehanism is not good and it has the worst batery life you can imagine,i had many phones for this year maybe more than 20,nokia and SE, and i can say that nokia leads the market, but n95 needs better batery and a xenon flash.I hope they will change it soon...

                    regards

To steve, i work for vodafone and i can tell you it is the phone itself. There is no problems with the software as its on all of our phones and other networks have had problems with this blinking phone as well

I got one of these through Vodafone some months ago. I don't know if its their own software or the phone but I have now had 7 replacements and they all have the same fault. The speaker gets very distorted to the point that it is difficult to understand any thing. does anyone else have the same problem?

                                  to jakas:

You can buy separate battery as you say BL 6F 1200mAh about 40 box, and put your old n95..you don't need buy 8GB N95 and spend more money..

Jameski, are u talking about the N93 or N93i? My cousin has the N93. He didn't buy it. He just found it someone left the phone in the taxi. It's a very nice phone. Video is so clear & really DVD-like. Screen resolution is so sharp. Though very thick & bulky. I'd still prefer the N95. Though I don't see any practical use for GPS in the Philippines. One day, I'll buy it. I swear.
                                    (^_^)
