Hi dude i love Nokia and my n95 a lot... But it is the 3rd time that they had changed my phone and this has really begun me asking myself if the N95 is really good or should i start looking somewhere else... Anybody else has this problem too or is it only me?

Umm... Looks like my SE W900i still rocks!

Long lasting battery and huge internal memory with crisp display (although it's only 262k) that cripple this N95. And my SE W900i software is very stable and reliable, unlike N95 and E90 that could easily freeze and hang for unknown silly reasons (like you turn on vibrate mode, in E90, it's infamously known as death mode).

Besides, it's slide up mechanism could be quite hairy. Once, my friend's N95 broke up and cannot be used because the fault in this mechanism. Hail SE W900i jack knife mechanism...!!

N95 8Gb? Nope! It's the same N95 with bigger memory and no memory slot. A definite "no no"... Such a waste of money...

OK, people stop comeing to this opinion section to dis this phone, if you love some other phone, go onto its opinion and talk of how good it is. Nobaody wants to hear half of you chumps that don't even have this phone. There is a reason that this phone is ranked number one, so stop compaining unless you have constructive critisism!

Poor thingy, extremely bad... After a week I was fed up with this and got my HTC S710. Windows Mobile 6 rocks compared to this! And everything else simply works fine as expected, including battery, WiFi, camera etc.

On the face of it the n95 seems like a super phone but like most Nokia s60\'s practice is so very different from theory.Wi-Fi is meant to be 10metres but the antenna is so poor you\'ll be lucky to connect from 6m,add wpa tkip data encryption and it won\'t connect at all!(fw update may have resolved this)The GPS chipset is also poor.Texas instruments chipset isn\'t even on a par with sirf II let alone sirf III.Any high end smartphone should be excellent for browsing the web but yet again the n95 disappoints in this field mainly due to keypress lag.General latency is a problem especially if you have a lot of files.Try opening a couple of applications and again the phone either reboots or closes an app you wanted open. The list of faults is endless heck even call clarity is an issue.Software updates are announced all the time which just proves how buggy the phone is.I\'m so relieved I managed to offload my n95 for more or less what I paid.

hi to ALL: Ive been doing research into nokia phones and ìue come to the conclusion that nokia phones made in european countrys IE. GERMANY, HUNGARY they outclass phones made in JAPAN, CHINA , ASIA. by 10-1 thats because phones made in europe have far superior components compared to the japanese,chìnese phones, so my advice to anyboby whos thinking of buying a N95 to make sure its european made n u will greatly see the difference in the QUALITY!!

At first, I was highly impressed with the N95. The functionality, look and feel - everything was brilliant until I started using it! Battery - extremely poor when using it as a full business phone. Speaker also gives problems - you can hear but people can't hear you. Phone cuts out in the middle of conversations. Overall - POOR!

I am a 44 year old pilot from South Africa. I enjoy technology, been surrounded by it in my every day work. I can confirm - the N95's GPS works just as advertised. There is absolutely no difference between the gps/inertial gyros which are 'standard' build in my cockpit and the N95's GPS. Cellphones have come a long way since the '90s. However the most used feature is the video camera. Yes this Nokia has a decent videocam 'onboard'. I wonder what als will be included in a 'cell phone'?

                                      Switt,

Essentialy they both are the same. The Finland made ones are originals almost like first generation. They theoretically have bugs. So the Nokia branded ones are better that way.
