yah its true that n95 recording in mono but AAC encoding. thats like a mono encoding in a stereo audio sounds quality. the n93 video only records at a 160x128 video size with 30 fps in mpeg4 format. not bad. bat wait the n95 video record at a 640x480 size with 30fps in mpeg4 format. theres a big diffrens from the video size and almost a slight diffrens in the quality. i have a n93 and a n95. the n95 record much better video than the n93.

and did u heard about the 3gp2? sounds not good quality format of video but beats all mp4 format. thats y dont under estimate the sound quality of the n95 in a mono format with an AAC sounds. the sounds is great.

in terms in the picture quality the 5 mega pixel is a big diffrens from the 3 mega. the picture taken from the n95 is compressed but with the high quality pic taken from it. it means less space and a sharp picture. i compared the pics taken from my n93, a pic from n73 and a pic taken from my n95 n95 still the sharpest. and dont ever compare a 5mp to a 3.2mp. the picture sample here from the n95 was compare to a 5mp SONY DIGI CAM. the 3mp is way behind to a 5mp.so dont compare it.

A warning to all those Middle East N95 owners that want to uppgrade their firmware to V12...Be warned that after you upgrade the firmware your phone may not display the name of any stored numbers which include the international suffix, f. ex. +974xxxxx. This is a confirmed bug to ME N95 phone versions. It happened to me and many others. NOKIA must come up with a fix to this problem ASAP. Anybody has any more info about this issue??

Yes that is very true.So many people get the impression 16million colours will produce a great screen, the resolution is very very important.A VGA 65k colour screen is actually better than a QVGA 16 million colour screen. The E90 has a superb display, unfortunately the n95 dosen't.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention. It is clear that Windows Mobile devices are progressing to the next stage and that is screen resolution. Any screen that is 2.6 inches or over will be given VGA resolution and that will make images very sharp. Four times sharper than the current QVGA Nseries batch. Furthermore many will use the sensitive SiRF Star III GPS chipset which performs better than the TI found in the N95. Nokia beware.

Aaron are you absolutely certain that the N93i and N95 do not record video in stereo? I agree that for the time being the N95 is supreme in terms of all-round ability. It will make other companies sit up and synthesize their own multimedia devices. Looks like we're in for an exciting two years of innovation and competition.

Nokia N95 is the best mobile phone so far. But let me point these out. According to many reviews, 5MP pics taken by N95 is no match to those 3.2MP pics taken by N93/N73/K800i due to too much JPEG compression in N95's shots. N93 (not N93i) takes an overall better video recording than N95/N93i. N93 records video with the same 30 fps MPEG4 (like the N95/N93i), but in "stereo" AAC audio encoding. N95 (as well as N93i) records in "mono" AAC audio only. The reason - the N93 has 2 separate microphones. The N95/N93i has only a single microphone used for audio encoding. In music playback, N95's audio quality (headphones-wise) is no where near N91. Reason - N95 is a "music-capable phone", not a "music phone"! Technically speaking, N95 cannot produce a very sweet, rich & clear sound like the N91 mainly because the N95 doesn't have what N91 does have - 2 dedicated audio chips installed in its hardware namely, ASIC N2200 & N2000. Of course, you can't have it all. But overall, Nokia N95 is sure the king of all mobiles!

                              Hi to all
I have been reading the comments by people on this site since the news leaked about this phone...I was really shocked when people started to give negative remarks though it was not released in the market...!!!! then the phone hit the markets on the first of last April and negative point by people kept shelling and majorly focused on the bad performance of the battary!!!and some comments said hanged out sometimes ...so I started to ask the people, who had this phone in their hands, and who I met here in dubai especially about these two draw backs and the people's answer was all the time "It dosen't hang out " and the battary lasts for a day or even more for the avarage usage...I'm sorry to say to all people who are dishonest in giving unrealistic and dishonest comments....stop guys ..its only your hearts that are burning for not being able to afford it..i advice you to go to the nearest showroom and stand near the phone and take a picture for yourselves and show it to your friends with proud, that you could have the chance to stand near this beautiful phone...one last word i would like to say,in case anyone has this phone and doesn't like it ..please throw it near my door..thx
by the way ,I'm a sonyerricson fan

Hello. I actually dont have this phone. Mainly because i dont have the money. But if ever i'll have money i'll sure buy this N95. But first there's couple of things i want to know about it. What's the actual difference between N95 Made in Finland & Made by Nokia? Is the difference like the one in N91? Theres a N91 that has no 3G/WLAN & a N91 that has 3G/WLAN. Pls email me. Thank you so much!
