even if n95 cant replace a standalone camera...its still better than any other phones camera on the market...and i think nokia is not making touchscreen phones cause if you look none touchscreen phones are 16mill...so as soon as its possible nokia will release a first 16mill touchscreen phone

You need to look at the E90.
IMHO a much better phone, except it is not available in the states for 3G access.

My opinion of the N95 is
Jack of all trades... Master of one.
The 30 fps Video cam is the only really good feature this phone has.
When are Nokia going to stop fucking about with a half arsed sloppy production, piece of equipment that nothing is really finished off properly.
1:Half baked attempt at Sat Nav
2:Over compressed Jpeg file pictures giving very mediocre results.
3:Freezes up frequently.
4:Poor production quality, loose sliders, scratch marks on keypad above No3 key.
5:Hopelessly inadequate battery life.
6:Low speaker volume on FM radio section.
It seems to me that Nokia are tripping over themselves with getting a new product out into the market place before finishing off the design and software issues before releasing it. Such a stupid and infuriating corporate mentality.
Having said all this, the Nokia N95 is still better than anything else that SE has released, so they will maintain their No1 position in the marketplace.
I wish they were more like a Mercedes Benz instead of a General Motors type of product.

iam going to buy this great phone it has all features that i want the phone is also very cute and small thanks to carl zeiss optics tessar lens any body suggest me which colour i have to choose either plum or sand

yeah, n95 is a good phone, but the downside is the built itself. looks very cheap and breakable. One drop, and its history..

n 95 is the best phone hey all sony ericsson lovers just compare the features of n95 and k 850 the only good thing in k850 is the xenon flash but sooooooo many great features r there in n95 it is the king of all the mobiles the desgin is also very good and stylish i love n95 it is a mini multimedia computer

Oh please!N95 cannot replace a standalone camera,camera recorder or dedicated gps unit.I'm not saying it's not a decent phone but comments such as that are ridiculous.

some of u guys r mad everyone who is interested in cellphones know dat the n95 is da best n the world where do u wanna start 5mp camera with carl ziess opticals-best on any cell-web browser dat is da best then great music player n if u put it through ur home system it blows ur rocks of and then we can talk about video cam dat can replace a camcorder n gps so no need for a in car navigator then lets talk about screen 16million colors yes 16million no cell can beat that then we have design it's so sweet and the finish is real quality any1 dat says its not good must own a wideass sony erricson and also the n95 is symbian which is very very good n has the most applications of any cell so lets discuss cost well yes its a little expensive to monkeys dat think its just a cell but lets think what u get 1 a camera dat can replace 1 dat hangs round ur neck when on a trip 2 a camcorder dat is extrodinarly good not quite as good as one that is only camcorder but nearly3a music player no need for own ipod or mp3 player 4 n95 can replace most things u do on pc so no need for a notebook now 5 gps no need for seperate navigator so u still think dat n95 is costly well u must be dum because this cell is the best n is a bargin if u got gold to waste buy iphone or some other lameass model if ur smart buy n95 its the BEST

nokia n95 with screen 16 m colors and 2.8 inch like recent plasma tv 32 inch but .............k850 with screen 256k colors 2.2 inch like very very old tv of my grand father 20 inch ..........from father of all

Am I correct in assuming that Skype can be downloaded on the N95 and that it can then function as well as the skype phones on the market like Linkys wireless Gskype phone or netgear skypephone?
