Such a great phone, yet such an unreliable system. Dropping it only adds to the problem since there's nothing about it that's shatter/crack proof.
Sure, great features, but great size too and a GREAT weight...
SE's got it in the bag with their up coming phones, but I can't say that I hate this phone.
It's only because people keep flaming on the other phones that N95 is better. Really, in many aspects, it's not. But standalone? This phone is good, so only buy it if you can get over it freezing, completely being useless when you drop it, or will care for it, even in it's all mighty size and weight.
(P.S. if the camera's slow, you can't REALLY do anything about it, cause it just has too many MP for the phone's hardware to be capable to be as fast as a regular camera, or camera phone. The lens is oversized too, so it'll take some time to write the digital media medium on your phone's memory/temporary multitask flash medium)

yup it is slow,nobody expects smartphones to be as fast as normal java phones but ffs I expected it to be faster than my 6630

guys blieve me on this, this phone really meets the standard of sonyericsson k800.
As u know the price of both.
I can advice u to wait for sonyericsson k850

Just bought the N95. At first i was impressed by all the features, the big screen, GPS... Problem after problem, phone restart by itself, battery life didn't last more than a day...deception after deception i decide to return it. Nokia had great ideas with this phone but create a unstable and pricey phone. DON'T BUY N95 unless you have it for $400US. DON'T make the mistake of paying $800US and have to return it after...be careful: some eBay seller are selling N95 fake copy.(call Nokla N95) I will wait to buy the new SONY ERICSSON K850 that will KILL N95.

im tired of dis the n95 is the best cell in the world u groaning coz you aint got the gold to buy n95 save up buddy then u c can buy n95 n c how good it is i can tel u its every bit as good as a laptop maybe bettercoz of things like gps hsdpa and symbian and camera which happens to be good enough to replace your camera tha hangs round your neck this camera and everything else fits in ur pants just buy one n enjoy

use it more and you will have the same problems!Surf some data filled webpages then take a pic and zoom in on the photo and see what happens.

Wow you guys have some mad problems on your n95, I have none of these in the few weeks ive had it. The only problem I had is multimedia button stopped working once, I also did that sis sign to use route66 with internal gps which is really cool

Hi All,
I bought my N95 3 weeks back .From the day one I am facing problems .I have taken the hand set to nokia care but nothing is changed more over I got some new problrms .I called customer care about this they asked me to submit the handset to the nokia care again and give them the job sheet number . I did the same and called the customer care back to my wonder they said they cannot take the job sheet number as the delivery date is with in 48 hrs[what the hell is this?].
I am planning to sell the handset back :-(
Here are the problems I am facing:
1. Many times I cannot hear the voice of the caller or callee unless I press loundspeaker and headset again
2. Sometimes the vibrator will not work until I restart the phone.
3. Some times I cannot make or receive calls until I restart the phone.
4. Sometimes phone does not allow me to select the pc connectivity mode.
New problems after submitting my phone to the nokia care

All the above problems exist apart from them I am facing the following new probllems
1. The handsfree does not respond manytimes
2. Phone hangs and restarts Intermittently
3. Phones front panel is shaking a bit

Hoga dude u r the man, u make the point here.
I totally agree with this dude, Nokia phone is not reliable and full of crappy features that we really dont need, i/o helping us with our life it just invade ur memory with slow softwares.......

I currently have O2 Xda orbix, using Tomtom (No problem at all) and I was thinking to get NOKIA N95.
However Tomtom does not work as easy as easy as my phone? If it so,I think i WONT GET it!!

Hidden GPS
The built-in module suffers from one fundamental drawback: 3rd-side applications do not manage to identify it because they do not have proper controllers. They usually search devices connected via Bluetooth, and, quite naturally, Nokia chip is not among them. We tried to run TomTom Navigator or the Java application Handy Geocaching, but without success. If you want to use such applications, you have to attach an external GPS module to the phone using Bluetooth.

If you loved a lot features that you maybe will never use it, and slow response and phone easy to freeze, and expensive get this phone!!
Until nokia can make phone that really reliable, and maybe I buy one, Lot's of my friend have this phone, but they can't show me nothing but the receipt of how much they pay for phone that...just phone! Media player hard to manage, it can play video, but is all N95 owner know how to put video in it? And the GPS, I bet most of the N95 owner buy the unlocked one and the map that pre installed not they home country,and did you even have the GPRS service? Otherwise you cannot use the GPS, and I did try it.. the map interface so slow.. I even find my way my self, before the map finish loading. And 5Mp cam? Camera is to take and save moment so you can keep it..but N95 camera so slow..the moment just pass before you can take it, N95 owner..you might use 2Mp unless you planing to print your picture bigger dan 10x8, otherwise 2Mp it's enough detail. DVD quality camcorder..again..the moment pass on by the time the phone ready. Wifi..is it free yet ? 16M color.. did you count it ?
Get phone that you can really use it, I love feature in N95.. but sorry.. I don't need them all.

very good phone i had no problems with tihs phone dont belive other people who r saying all negetive about this super phone the cam is really wowful and the sound is very good especially the desgin is cute and sexy thank u nokia
