I'm on to my second N95 which sadly I'm having to return too. Even making a simple phone call causes it to reboot almost every call. It shuts down and restarts going through the whole Nokia start up introduction. I've also found that it can be a bit slow when moving around it, sometimes 'hangs' and sometimes when I make a call, I have to go to loudspeaker then to handset before the person I'm calling can hear me speak. I'm on Orange, so I wondered if it was an interface problem since nobody else seems to have reported similar problems on here. Advice would be appreciated.

I will persevere with the phone because the camera makes it worthwhile.

I just got this phone today, it's been sitting next to me on my desk charging for the last 3 hours and its telling me its completely charged, I know you're meant to leave it overnight the first time you charge it and I don't want to screw that up after reading numerous comments about poor battery life.... just wondering though (very simple question) is it ok for me to turn it on whilst its charging or should I leave it off for the whole time?

I got the N95 and charged it up overnight.. The next morning i was setting up the phone the way i want the navigation keys and ring tones and wallpaper... The battery began to die only after 2 hours.. but it was used to set up the phone so i thought nothing of it...The next day i had the phone and without making or recieving a phone call, just on stand-by the battery was low after 3 hours.... i rang nokia and they asked me to go in and get a new battery... i left it for the next day... The following morning i was using the phone and it freezed.. only way to get it back was to reboot it.... guess what happened next... all the settings was back to default... so i had to set up the phone again the way i like it with ring tone and stuff... memory card was not recognised...i left the phone on my workbench and when i went to look at it i had 3 missed calls... i didn't hear the phone ring... so i put it down to me not being there when it rang or the background noised covered the loud ring tone.... a few minutes later my phone was glowing and i looked at it and i had a phone call coming in and the phone wasn't vidrating or ringing.... i couldn't answer the call or press any button to answer the call.... i had to turn it off... guess what happened... thats right... back to default settings... so i sent the phone back after 3 days and i have been waiting to get a new one back from nokia for 2 weeks... thats right i am still waiting... makes me wonder all those good comments about the phone... do you guys really have this phone... i really wonder

                              All u people...

Pls dont get excited with all saying "this phone good, and u should buy it". I dont really trust those people as i even doubt they owned the phone. All im saying pls check the professional review from trusted website, there u will found how fragile this N95 is. In fact Nokia never did good about smartphone ( starting from Nokia 9500/9300, N9x series) all programs runs like "turtle" and if u lucky u dont get crash and reboot the phone.

I really dont see whats the attractive of this phone from Nokia, maybe people out there buy this people for style rather function, satbility, durability, and experience. If thats the case no wonder Nokia owned no. 1 int the world as phone manufacturer, they really know how to manipulate people mind to buy their phone. Thats all Folks........

I've just been testing this phone for a network provider and I was given one week to do a write up. I had it overnight and handed it straight back with a 1/10. Using the handset as a modem is not a good idea. The phone will crash. Using the camera is OK as it is a 5MP which is fantastic if it wasn't so slow. The GPS receiver would be great if it wasn't underneath the keypad making it hard to obtain a GPS signal. Wi-fi is the ONLY good thing about this handset! Overall is a typical Nokia handset where no thought has gone into the function of the handset but as usual with clever marketing and design, everyone wants one! Well trust me, this phone is just like the rest of the N series. A load of software packed into a device that can not and will not run. Plus Nokia released the first batch without any SMS software!! Sorry but if you want this handset, don't waste your time. I feel sorry for the network providers.

Nokia was very clever by marketing N95 long before it was available. Everyboby wants one. After owning mine for 10 days it went back for software upgrade. It keeps on crashing even in middle of a call and only way to get out is to remove battery and reboot - after 10 days I had to reboot 3 to 4 times a day. Battery life silly - I have to charge twice a day. Yes I spend approx 1500 minutes per month on it.
