no freaking duh virgin mobile wont take this phone, its a gsm, and virgon mobile is cdma. it has nothing to do with this phone having problems or not, it has to do with what frequencies it runs on.

Hi Guys its the best phone of all times ive been using it for 3 weeks by now and its awesome the features are at the top and the vedio quality is superb I have also updated the firmware to 11.0.026 also i am using Sony DR-BT50 for listening music using bluetooth and the sound is so superb u cant believe but guys believe it or not just give it a try and i know youl buy coz its the best of the best till now i hated Nokia and m a huge Fan of Sony but this fone really means business to sum up The more i use the more i like it what r u guys waiting for get out and buy urself a good deal ;-)

i am on my third n95 and this one does not work after one day. i will be returning it and not getting another.

I work in a phone shop, and today we have had 4 N95's come back in faulty. This is not uncommon, almost every new n95 we get from Nokia is replacing a faulty one. A lot of them have problems with in call audio (people not being able to hear on either end of the call), a few with GPS problems, and don't even get me started on the software. The onyl staff member to have taken an N95 has had to return hers, as the GPS simply does not work, no signal from satellite at all.
To be frank, I find it pathetic that a well respected company like Nokia can get away with this! They hyped the phone up, undersupplied the handset and obviously didn't do enough testing. I thought there was no way that the N range of Nokias could get any worse - the N73 had some pretty big teething problems too - but the return rates have been diabolical to say the least. I cannot think of a single other handset that has caused this much problems. If Nokia are not quick to resolve this issue, they'll soon find that their market share diminishes before their eyes.
If you want a phone that does everything, then fair enough, give the N95 a try, but don't look at this phone through rose-tinted specs. You will need to stay on top of the software updates, making sure you always have the newest version. If you need a phone to be a phone, then honestly, do not buy the N95, as even if you avoid the software problems, the temperamental GPS and the inability to actually use it as a phone, you might find that the battery is nowhere near sufficient for the handsets needs. I really feel for people who will be trying to use the same batteries in 15-16 months...
Incidently, I have posted a few times on here before, but I've never been so dumbfounded by a handset that I've felt the need to really lay into it on these pages. Keep your receipt/dispatch notes safe, and the minute there's a problem get onto Nokia and let them know, then maybe they can ask the testing staff if they even turned the phone on :'(

Hi i work for a mobile network "Virgin mobile" and we have refused to release this phone as it has been the most faulty phone ever released by any manufaturer, its pathetis plastic cover seems like a childs toy, even Nokia a recalling 25% of there stock as they have faults! this is the worst phone i have ever used

hi,
i used the nokia n95. to be honest i didnt like it atall. bettery life is not good enough. built quiality is very bad.they have not put any protective glass on the screen. so screen is not covered can be cracked with little force. i would say this is the third bad design.1 6280 bad software,2 6131 with no glass on screen 3 n95 with that bad built quailty. lods of people had a good hope fron this n95. but nokia let them down.

For crying out loud if you don't yet own an n95 how on earth can you be proclaiming it as the best phone in the world?!Anyway it does appear more than useful.Nice step up from the finns.

n95 sucks dont think so its da best cell in da world look at da features da design da n95 has it all its so far ahead of da rest i get mine next week n i cant wait i saved up n worked hard for dis n i know it is worth it i suggest u save up2 den u will buy 1 n wont come in here trash talking da best cell in da planet hey trash talk motorola n all dat coz der r garbage n u probably got moto or sony ericcson n ur just feeling a bit jealous
