to everybody who are complaining about the battery life....

give your phone a masterreset(main settings),and you will see that this works...,at least mine did.

at first i had to charge it after every 6 hours of standbye-time,but now after 12 hours of using time, making several phone calls aswell sending messages i still have full bar.

if this doesn't work wait untill the new software comes around, this will solve the problem(at least they told me at a nokia service-point)....

in the near future there will be a equipment to check if your battery is fault or not,and so you will get a new one that might solve your problems to.

but what do you expect from a new model,it is nokia and will always be a product with software-problems in the beginning,at least for the first few months...

you can always waith a little bit longer until these units are fully grown in the market without any problems...

      best regards from Holland.

What are the limitations of an branded againts an nonbranded N95?

the phone is unique, no manufacturer has been able to come up with a phone of this design, the only downside to the south african market is the lack of accessories available for the phone. other than that built in GPS, 3D ring tones, symbian opperating system and the MEGA memory is a major bonus, the problem is networks not being able to support all the functions that come standard on the N95... what a piece of machinery, compared to most phones including the N73, N80 and most of sony erricson and samsungs top range phones the N95 is a member of the mile high club and no phone will be able to compare in terms of size, weight and power of its punch. naturally all these phones have a weak battery life but hey, you cant expect the thing to last forever now... to those that dont have an N95 get one, to those that dont like the N95 dont make your problems ours... Cheers...

                  To DIMI
To transfer your short videos from your PC to your N95 use bluetooth.(If you have a bluetooth adapter).
To transfer your long videos you must have an usb card reader.
Put your Micro SD into normal SD adapter than transfer your video to your phone card.

For Iceman yes there is as i use the maps, go to this website - http://www.smart2go.com/en/
and follow the prompts you will install Nokia Maploader onto your desktop of your PC and as long as you have your phone of mass storage mode you should be fine, or just take your memory card out and place it into a memeory card reader and once you have done this the program will allow you to down load both west and east sides of Australia for free but depending on your internet speed it may take a little while... good luck!

DON'T love it DON'T buy it. its better to all nokia lovers to see this inimitable phone in everyones hand.don't forget it this is a fact: symbian is the best and PDA with its rubble body and rubbish Windows going to die these days.i hate the qwerty and touch screen too. oh my good n95 is full perfect marvelous slide phone.

It's a real snail!Nobody would expect it to be as fast as a normal java phone but it's far slower than I-mates running WM6.WM6 is a bigger os so why are they faster than a small symbian phone?
