Just got the phone comments:
1. I feel it’s too plastic if you know what I mean.
2. G.P.S I tried it and the funny thing is I think its always pointing to north so if your going or coming on the highway in my case the ocean is always on the right side.

Hi all!Just bought the phone in Oxford,Uk and they had plenty of then in stock! The phone is perfect!Very fast (comparing to my previous nokia n80), the camera is incredible, the gps works very well, the sound is perfect the most amazing thing is that it is a light phone! I was expecting it to be heavy! Perfect phone, bought it for 500£ in the carphone warehouse!Congratulations to Nokia!

am seriusly thinking of gettin the O2 orbit or the new releases. windows is more maleable than symbian in my opinion. n despite the general opinion abt Microsoft, i fink windows is beter looking n beter to work with than symbian.
the 5m is something i wish the orbit had but then u cnt av it all!
i have seen some bugs already-the phone restarted when i tried cancelling connection to WAP!!!!

I feel that nokia shud have a new version of the n95 simply cuz of the prossesor speed . The new version i hope will have features similar then the 5700 with a good arm prosseor ram and rom cpu to be in business . But also why nokia went from super fast dv rs mmc to mini sd and now uses Trans flash on a phone that shud runn on high speed mmc sandisk duo pro speed is way better but se phones in general dont do half of what nokia phones can do i had the 6682 or 6680 and when you clicked on something you had instant result with 3rd ed it s slow it s a question of money if they had to put 400 mhz arm pressesers on there symbian phones the price would double look at the blackberrys . So why micro sd and not mini sd or dv rs mmc ?????

Usually you should be outside (not in a building) to get the GPS signal... That applies to all GPS equipment.

this is my personal opinion so dnt let it affect yrs. plz have a look instore b4 u decide.
Am nt at all pleased with the build qlty. am nt one to throw my phone around but i have dropped it more than once! it doest seem like the n95 won't take it!
there's that hissing sound when i received calls which winds me up!!!! n the loose screen area!
again these might all be a problem with my handset only. but a lot have reported similar issues!
as i previusly pointed out, Symbian is not exactly my cuppa tea!hav had it on 6680 n n70 for sth like 2 years now n never eva eva warmed up to it. i'd rather use my k750 n d600 anytime.

The phone was launched today by O2, i popped in to a store today to pick up my brothers phone from repair and asked, then 10 mins later i walked out with the last one, free. havent had a chance to play with it tho

O2 direct/online always has the better deals! y would any1 want to go to CPW i have no idea!
To 'Scott':advise us on which phone u go for. without switchin on the n95, i have that urge to swap it for the orbit!
am not impressed by the poor build qlty.

I hope this will help people out there-
wihtout switchin on the phone, I can say that:
the build qlty is not all that good. i have a feeling it will require good attention-no droppin the phone, or closing it too harshly etc...
The sliding mechanism is below par. those who've had a d600 would understand that.
The screen area is slightly loose.
There's a big open hole on the side for the 3.5 audio jack!y not just put a lid on!
all in all, the orbit (another phone that i think is cool) had beter looks than the n95.
In all fairness that it my taste. some people seem to love it. the size is reasonable and i have yet to try the features.
i have this funny feeling that nokia will release an 'i' edition sometime this year! probably one in blak with a cover on the 3.5 jack and some minor fix!then i shall be well p****d with Nokia for releasing a sub-standard phone!

Got n95 yesterday, going back tomorrow. Within 5 minutes it was freezing when attempting to add a contact, rebooted itself 3 times, battery lasted just over 24 hours, camera was appalling! I was so looking forward to getting it, and have so many issues so soon was a real let down! Nokia seem to always rush their phones out, such a shame. Nokia and reliablity used to be a given not anymore.

cool plemix.com once again has dropped their prices for both colors on the n95, they are still the cheapest, competitions hot.
