cnet says that this phone will be released by end of the month, which means end of January!

In Singapore, M1 (a phone carrier company) has included N95 on their list of upcoming phones in their recent newsletter, which pretty much confirms that N95 should be avaliable pretty soon, by February I would concur.

    Wow wow wow!

The only flaws N95 has is the lack of touchscreen and qwerty keypad, and that Nokia N series phones are supposely quite buggy.

I am carrying a Dopod 838pro now... Wondering if I should make the switch. I pretty much like my phone, with HSPDA, all connectivity options and wifi. N95 is pretty much the same, but better with GPS. And the main difference is the 5 megapixel camera.

I will be holding on the Dopod 838pro until I see any new phones from Sony Ericsson, which can compete. From what I read on other forums, Sony Ericsson should be coming out with a successor to M600, with 3.2 megapixel camera and wifi, and another 5 megapixel camera phone. These phones will make me seriously consider changing my phone (with N95 too!)!

    :)

                @ Ken:

The phone does have 160MB memory, the ones they are testing are only demo or prototype phones, they can't get the real deal before it's ready to be sold... also it's stated on the nokia website. Do some research before brining up accusations or false information.

just the phone to own. Also sony has no phone to compete.

pls note that the phone does not have 160 MB internal memory-the only proof i have as of now is the CNET video which says "device does not have enough memory".

pls note that CNET is well established gadget site.

excellent features but battery life is 950 mAh which is very less for such a device. N73 had somethign like 1100 mAh.

too bad with 5 megapixel shots, music playing and, GPS'ign ur way on N95 might jus get u thru 2 days- which isnt all that bad.

                          looking forward to this device

This will be for sure a great phone.Trying to compare it with the iphone has no sense and I hope in time people will write here only about the N95. However I would compare it with the newly released N93i. I would say both phones are great. The only reason not to buy the N93i is still the weight and size. The dimensions and weight (120 gr) for the N95 are ideal. I miss only the optical zoom. That is why I consider both phones great. However I will go for the N95. I only hope Nokia will not relase after a few months a new N95i or something similar. I am sure a lot of people would now buy the N93i instead of the N93. To end my comment, please do not try to convince us about retailers who are selling this phone. Even for Europe where the N95 should appear soon you cannot have it until 2nd quarter 2007. Have a nice day.

                                  mua:

How long have you been using the N95? Yours broke after 2 months? Get your head out of the gutter mate, nobody will force you to buy the N95 if you do not want too. Buy the iphone and spam someplace else.

Maybe this is a silly question, but what happens if one gets a virus over the phone's internet browser? can it have an antivirus software installed?

This phone looks a bit of a boys and their toys phone. It looks good and a hell of a lot more practical that the iPhone.

If I had a choice of which one to buy I think this one would be it. The iPhone does look good but for everyday use I think the N95 wins hands down.
