I agree you can have unpleasant surprises if you take your phone to a"cartier" service. But try"cirma" it's a service that deals directly with vodafone and cosmote. They repair the phones under warranty of clients of these operators. Another option would be to take it to a nokia center. There is one in auchan titan and another in berceni.

okay, here's the thing my nokia in power saver, when it usually shows date/time the screen is very black!, if i look in a certain angle i can see date/time, but still, if there are certain conditions. i had a n73, i know that in power saver it wasn't so dark on the screen. any idea about this? i won't go to a service because those bastards will charge me plenty.
the bottom line is if it's normal the screen to be so dark in power saver mode. thx for your reply

Only english is allowed here,prietene. I agree with your comments regarding the bad taste of many of our countrymen and the increasing"manelization" of the country. Still i was making my point in a discution with a unknown person. I do not usually intervene in a discussion between two people unless my opininion is asked. I get the impression that you are a diferent tipe of person then the guy i was talking to but still i don't like people jumping in a a conversation that i am having! Please refraim yourself from discutions that don't concern you!

could you guys stop arguing like two old ladies at the market? i got the point, there are many "Metropotami and bizoni" in romania who don't care about numbers in economy and the reality, only about "dusmanii, masinile, femeile and cumetriile la care sa se duca si sa se laude cu ce pietoni au lovit sau ce batranei au impins la coada la banca"
meanwhile about the phone: my one is getting very hard gps signal..... i used a nokia ld3w before, oh my god! in 3 secs it was full, when the n95 is kinda shallow regarding its gps function.

First of all when you express an opinion it is polite to add a nickname. I had some dificulties understanding your message because your grammar needs some serious improvements. Try to first understand the meaning of the words before using them in a proposition. You wrote"wallachia" instead of valahia which is the correct form. For a romanian a mistake like that would mean that either he does not know his country's history or he is an illiterate. That convinced me that you are not from my country and have nothing better to do then to bother other people. So be a wise boy( or girl) and try doing something useful with your time!

Really! Is that true? I can't believe were from the same wonderful country..... And you own so many phones.... You must be a"rara avis" around those parts considering that is the poorest region in romania where the unimployment rate is around 30% and the medium wage is 300 euro! With this wage people out there don't give a f...k about the latests mobile phones they just want to put food on their tables! For your information that is the situation in moldova!

My n95 is almoast 2 years old and i am still going to us it even after my omnia 2 arrives. In romania the n95 is no longer available for sale at eny mobile operator. That's no problem it means more money in the pockets of phone dealers . To many users are interested in buying what is new not what is best.

I've had my N95 going on 2 years now and I still wouldn't give it up for anything! It keeps falling though - my clumsiness and some parts are shaking and the camera does act up but still a great phone!

mines just had 3rd birthday,dropped so many times it aint funny,camera playing up,apart from that oh and speaker cuts in a nd out rarely ace phone i paid $1100us for back than and money well spent i think.still got same battery in it too =>.

But nokia has recently introduced on the market new handsets and is in the late stages of releasing others. I don't believe that is in the company's strategy to bring improvements to an already great device. But n95 beats many recent phones and combined with it's price drop it still represents a good choice for many users.

So nokia has revealed some new and interesting handsets..... I believe that n95 won't be forgetten because it still is a good alternative to many recent phones.

hi there,
I am using this phone from a year and i am really satisfied wit this phone. Problems encountered r weak gps and low battery backup. I updated my mobile firmware to v35, which is the latest firmware for n95 2gb. Now battery backup problem is resolved. Its coming around 1.5 days on heavy usage and 2 to 2.5 days on normal and low usage. May b u should update ur firmware. This info might help u ppl. But still gps signal catchin is weak. Anyhow i love this phone.
