you are totally wrong pal. Cingular in usa currenly have 3.5G network (HSDPA) in 850 and 1900 band. Plus in 2007 t-mobile will deploy a 2100 3G band as well as 3.5G (HSDPA) later on, maybe in 2008.

Okay, I really don't understand. What's the point of getting the fancy phones with fancy features when the US carriers like: T-Mobile, Cingular, etc ... do not support most of the advance features such: Video calling (video conference), 3G, ... Even the new phones are capable of such technologies, but with the carriers we have available in USA, all the advanced features are limited, in which we could not be able to take the advantage of our phones' potentials. Can anyone answer that? Thanks in advance. Okay, even we are the gadgets lovers, but enough is enough, these cellular manufacturers are making money which we've been given to them for quite a long time.

the n80 is not out of date mate... its still got a better camera ect than most phones on the market... but you are right you cannot compare it to the n95 as its not even released yet and not going to be for anytime soon... expect delays due to firmware issues people! one work of advised tho DO NOT BUY IT WHEN IT FIRST COMES OUT, thefirmware ect on it is that buggy its going to be useless! i expect this phone to go the same way as the n80, n91, n73... every network stops selling them due to constant replacemnts and repairs beeing needed. crap phones realy

uhmmm... have you guys noticed? Just look at the voting results! It's the highest ever in GSM Arena... I just hope this N95 deserves this king of rating and also I hope it won't considerably go down and I mean DOWN! I advice nokia to make it's software and hardware the best it can be cause the only way people would like it is for it to be amazing in the VERY first release.

First, where do people get their N95 to start making judgement now. Are they a time traveller or have they maybe gotten their hands on a preproduction/demo model or perhaps fell for a fake toy ploy from Ebay.

Second, make it more fantastic! Like it was said before if this N95 multimedia phone also comes in with fast cpu with gpu, optical zoom, an SDHC expansion capability, sapphire coated touchscreen, built-in qwerty keypad/fastap, SiRF Star III or better GPS receiver, an integrated TV tuner, traveller's built-in world languages translator and wrap it up in a rugged case to go then will be all over it even if the sheer weight and price might rip a hole in an average person's pocket.

Cannot find these in this upcoming N95 model and do get tired of waiting for N1000.007 ... or might just ask SE to build P1701D and make available for the masses now.

I agree with you. If any Nokia N-series now comes with a .avi/MPEG-4 video player, it's fantastic.

The difference is that v2.0 is faster than the old v1.2
