You can preorder it from verkkokauppa.com, but the price and availability is still wild open. If you can read a finnish language y´ll notice that. They have put the price 999euros, coz they don´t know how much it is going to pay.
This is all from this issue.

You can´t buy N95 in Finland, coz any of stores
don´t have any pieces of IT. Did y get it? Check verkkokauppa.com in Finland online store and y see what is situation here in Finland.

My concern with buying a phone prior to its release - is that it might not be ready yet... Which sounds evident from your bad experience. As others who have interacted with the phone have written - various aspects were not working or the software unstable. I would assume that is why it has not been officialy released yet, and it seems that a fair opinion couldn't be made till that time.

Faisel .i bought it in finland and as the comment above yours shows other people have had it aswell but i can assure you it is the real version and i am no moto lover i am an avid fan of nokia its just they really let me down this time round.

After reading the comment about buying the phone in Finland - I started looking around the net and found varioius people claiming to see the N95 for $300 to $600 dollars. Does anybody know how this is possible? Is it safe to assume that it is not the final version? More likely to have issues? Safer to wait till the "real" release date and spend more? Thanks for any help.

Go on You Tube and type in Nokia N95, it's really good and theres a video about the N70 and how you can assemble all the parts in just under 8 minutes! It's in japanese though but still fun to watch how the N70 looks like from the inside!

i purchased this phone while vactioning in finland i posted here as i have owned the phone and am entitled to my opinion.like i said before i know phones otherwise i wouldnt be head of the mobile phone fan club at my church hall. and yes the 5mp is worse than the 1.3 quality of o2 ice

i have had this phone and trust me it ruined my life i was stressed at its slow oh so deadly slowness!and i was truly dissapointed by the over hyped 5mp camera ive been more impressed by pictures taken by vga in black and white of my naked mother.and talk about cheap material my 3 year old friend thought it was a toy and couldnt belive it when it rang as the material and the whole look of it is the most ridiculous THING ive ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes on.the phone becomes searing hot ater being on a call about a minute the sound quality is rubbish and the screen resolution is about as good if they had have made it of cardboard and just scribbled on it for all the clearness of that!
so as you can imagine i wasnt very happy with it so i went back in store furious as a lion whos cubs had been slaughtered and the kind advisor gave me a o2 ice with bluetooth headset and my oh my!! what a wonderful piece of mobile technolgy the stunning 1.3!! MEGApixel camera and i mean MEGA!! the amazing looks sleek design and brilliant quality feel in the immpecable white colour makes me feel like im handling real quality..the screen resolution is finer even than the widest high def lcd tv's...stop anticipating this phone ive had had it and i know mobile phones being the head of a mobile phone fan group at my nearby church hall..nokia n95=1/10.o2 ice=10/10.steven

about the price........it will be around 550Euro without taxes.
It is not the first phone with 5mpx camera, in asia samsung anounced the first phone with 10mpx.

the sliding mechanism is the one used by nokia 6280. The phone is available in Finland and Philipines. In usa and the rest of urope will be available before christmas.

Stop askin` about the collour ppl .. in won`t come in black .. it allready hai 2 variant .. deep plum and sand link kinda` collour .. the only thing is that the face of the fone is the same silverish collour ... only the back in a different collour !

Well, Owen.....the slider on the N95 isnt spring-assisted, but just like the mechanism on its sibling, the N80. But nevertheless, it holds up prety well....owing to Nokia's legendary build quality, and the grade of materials used. And anyway, the revolutionary 2-way slider has to be seen to be believed!!

This phone is amazing! I was at Nokia's head office in Sydney and had the chance to play around on a prototype and this phone is amazing!
The first decent sized phone to have GPS!
The first phone with a 5 megapixel camera!
and my I say, this camera is outstanding, its a carl zeiss lens and its prints are amazing.
The size of the phone is great, it fits in your hand perfectly, it looks great and the keypad is well spaced.
The multi-media key featured on all n series handsets has changed slightly as it gives a list of about 10 shortcuts that are fully programmable.
I can not wait for this phone! It is the be all and end all of phones! (and not just phones!) It will replace my digital camera, my N73, my ipod and my navman gps unit too!

this phone sounds real gud except for the price tag?? not any normal person can purchase a phone for $889 thats ridiculous.. can someone plse tell me wat the real price tag will be and if it comes in blackor any other color besides silver??

Hands on with the N95

Hey hi ppl....
I had the chance of playin wid an N95....!!!!!!! So here goes:
Build Quality:
Well my first impressions of the build quality is that its very acceptable.... the only thing bad was the slide and the keypad, when under it making a lil movement... as in you could feel the space between the top and the keypad when the phone was closed... just a lil n minor though... may b because of the rough handling ppl might have given or what i aint sure but i'll give nokia the benefit of the doubt!
The slide is good both ways... really...!! It firmly clicks in place in both directions... The force u need to apply to open it is optimum.. neither too hard or soft... it wont open in ur pocket.. the feelin the slide gives u pushing it down is amazin !! The buttons there too are good... All in all very good build quality apart from the slight creaking which might b due to rough handling as i already said.
Screen & Illumination:
The screen gives u quite a wow feeling.. it does look big.. there was N91 8GB lying near it n the diffirence was huge! The pixels too aint much of an issue... of course it aint a N80 but it aint really less too! Giving up pixels for size is accepatble any day to me.
The keypad and the sides illuminate rather well.. the blue contrasts nicely.. The illumination of the side camera, review n vol. key is also pretty smart... Adds a fine touch...
Camera & Flash:
The camera as u ppl might have already seen on you tube takes a lil time to load and work around it... but it already is producing good pics... i tried clickin a few and sendin onto my phone but it rebooted often... So i wasnt sucessful there.. Damn!
The LED is indeed a powerful one!!!!!! It works like a normal flash used in cameras i.e. flashin multiple times while clickin one pic... This seemed to be one beautiful addition... N should give the SE Xenon flash junkies a kick... i aint sure of how it would b in the night as the area was brightly lit up... But way better that any existin nokia!
Audio:
The audio from the loudspeakers is good! I beamed the tokyo drift song onto it from my phone to play n the stereo start is sexy! However it seemed to me that the output which is pretty loud, doesn't seem to support much bass... the sound was a lil sharp... But i may b mistaken as there were huge JBL speakers blasting music on the sides so compared to that bass......!
The output from the Bose headphones that were there too was amazin! A true music phone whose only folly is the micro sd!
Keys:
The keypad is very usable n the key size is enough even for big fingers. Specially the way they come up is nice.. Fast T9 not a problem.
The camera open slide was pretty hard... really took an effort.. a lil crude i'd say.. hope it improves in the final product.
The camera, review & vol. keys are okay...
Software:
The software in its current state is buggy... a lot of frequent restarts... one think that they've changed is that the menu loads while booting n the press of the menu key after startup gives u instant access unlike the earlier phones... Menu workin is pretty fast too... applicatons start quickly...
The Maps application has a nice start to it.. kinda like google earth... But it wasnt workin here... alas!
Game (3D Acc.):
The reason ive made a special mention is because the feelin of playin that spaceship game is excellent... it works like a charm... no glitches, lags etc at all! PSP kinda stuff! 3D acceleration at its best!!!! Super Sexy!! Once programmers start using the music keys in games it'll just b great! N if they orient the display somehow that the keys come to the right it'll even b better!!!!! It was mighty impressive... !
Proto to Final:
The proto software is not really final yet owing to the reboots etc.. but its pretty close! 3rd party apps like adobe reader are up n running.... I dont think there should b anythin Nokia wont b able to fix within the next 3 months... Q1 2007 is realistic... Feb n wide availiability at a stable price shouldn't b a prob...!
General Impressions:
Its a great device to hold... fits nicely in the hand... the highlight is the screen but there are others too specially the dual slide... the quality of the plastic could have been better for such a premiem device not that its bad now... a responsive UI exists... Awe inspiring if u aint the one holdin it... It'll blow over the non geeks too!!!
