you must change phone memory to memory card in messeging
go to messeging,settings,other,and then change it

erm, 05 Oct 2009ur using a 2g sim card arent u so obviously keep it in dual... moreI'm not using a 2G SIM. I've got a 3G one (it is not 3G only, it worked ok in 2G mode on my previous phone - e51). But I want to use the phone on 2G/gsm to reduce the battery consumption. I'll give it a try and change my sim just to see if on other networks it works on GSM mode. Thanks for the advice. I'll comeback on this.

Hi everyone.
My n95 doesn't work in GSM. After I make the Network settings to 3G only, I have no signal. It only works on UMTS or Dual mode in 3G.
Does anybody have any idea why?

I would like to reply in regards to the question whether the n95 original has accelerometer
yes it does have accelerometer it just so happens that you dont need a program to use the accelerometer in firmware 21 and above
and accelerometer's original use isnt for tilting and rotating the screen itys just one part of the accelerometers use
so yes the original aka "1 gb n95" or "n95 classic" has an accelerometer and it is part of the hardware not software
regardless of what firmware you have the accelerometer is always there ^_^
