Anonymous, 13 Jun 2009I'm set on the N95-3 (the North American, non-8GB). I just ... morenokiaUSA is not really supporting the n95-3(US version), after reading the threads and discussions in the nokiaUSA website in regards through firmware version 30. Unfortunately, the n95-3 owners are stuck with firmware 20. I bought my n95-3 last year. I called nokiaUSA hotline in regards to firmware 30 being available. The answer that i got from them is they don't know when it will be available. Now, i am wondering if nokiaUSA will release firmware 30 at all for the n95-3, since the n95-4(8gb US version) had an firmware update to 30, to make it speedier.
I bought the 5800(us version). it is fast. i just hope that nokiaUSA supports it well, not ignoring it like the n953-3.
my advice to you is get the n95-4 (n95 8gb).

kreol, 11 Jun 2009can we change the casing for the nokia n95?of course you can change the case of the N95. You mite need to check as their are the duplicate and the orignals. TDont comprimise, get the orignal is a better fit

First find nokias 1 800 number from where you live and give them the imei number of that n95 you want to buy. The imei number when you press *#06#. It is possible to change the casing. Maybe it was changed. Explain everything to nokia customer care just like you explained it here. They will also tell you if the imei number from *#06# on that n95 is legitimate or not.

Hi guys,
I just saw a n95 in a shop today and am planning on buying it. The guy at the shop said it is an original but 2nd hand phone. The only thing that worries me is the IMEI code that appears when u type *#06# is not the same as the code on the back of the phone. The guy said it could be because the previous owner changed the casing. I just want to know if that is possible coz i really wan to buy it but i'm afraid i might get ripped off.
