It's most likely a response to all the retards that brought a N900 and complained that it wasn't supported by Nokia. N900 was obviously supported by Nokia but it was still a developer phone also (step 4 of 5 to be precise).
Plus Elop etc are killing off Maemo / Meego for their own personal interests, i.e. Win 7.

N950 is actually N9 + QWERTY keyboard
I think N950 will not be publicly available, and N9 will be the only MeeGo phone by Nokia.

Developers-only phone?To developing what and for what?For ONE phone(n9) only?Stupid.And i can`t believe it - finally, they changed screen resolution! But I must admit - it`s a good phone.
PS-and about "high end slide out qwerty touchscreen phone" - Nokia is not alone in producing such handsets.I have Motorola and it is high-end phone too.And it is not plastic...

I have been a Nokia fan for over 10 years but with 3 N900 with broken charging ports, I am beginning to loose faith in Nokia....

I see critics and professional bloggers that are paid to make bad Nokia publicity moaning about features and how Nokia is being left behind. But I say look at the market share that Nokia has and only then comment on how lousy they are. If they were so poorly made, nobody would buy them. I just wish your opinions were brand-less and not brain-less. Let the devices make their own publicity.
PS I bet half of you guys that write anti-Nokia comments presently own a Nokia and that some of you typed their comments from a Nokia device. I have no idea why, but that just makes me LAUGH!

dear Nokia, i want this phone. like many people, i want to return you too. please release this phone as soon as possible and please get rid of Symbian and Windows. you know that these are nothing more then junk. MeeGo is perfect for your hardware.
