It's basically the best phone i've ever used since back in the days of the 6600, to tell the truth i'm actually in love with the N95 8Gb,it's quite amazing dat such a piece of art work can do so many things,i named mine's Jack after the series action hero in "24" . X

      N82 vs. N95 8GB, 18 Jul 2009N95 8GB's 2.8-inch QVGA screen is much closer to N82's 2.4-... moreNo, what the hell are u saying!!
Yes, the resolution does matter and so does the screen size. N95 8GB and N82 have the same resolution, but that doesn't mean that since N95 8GB has a larger screen, the quality is not good. If its like that then why even 2.4", y not go for a phone which has even smaller screen and the same resolution. I guess u haven't seen N95 8GB and N82 together. The quality on N95 8GB is far far better, and it's also brighter than N82. Also N82 has a problem of dead pixels and dust coming under the screen. There's no doubt N82 is a better camera phone.
But the missing lens cover on N95 8GB also doesn't make a huge difference. So it's as simple, N82 wins in the camera department and also it's little compact.

Personally the N95 8GB is the bomb, I've been using it for over a year and a half now,and i seem not to be getting feedup of it,it practically offers everything needed in a phone, it's really a cool piece of artwork.

N95 8GB's 2.8-inch QVGA screen is much closer to N82's 2.4-inch QVGA screen than to 5530's 2.9-inch nHD screen. What this means is it's not the physical size that counts, it's the resolution. You won't lose too much if you've got a 2.4-inch QVGA screen instead of a 2.8-inch QVGA screen. But you'll be losing a lot if your camera has neither a lens cover nor even a dual LED flash or much better, a Xenon one. =p

N82 vs. N95 8GB , 18 Jul 2009N82 is much better than N95 8GB in the long run. Nokia made... morenaah, i would sacrifice a xenon flash for screen size, coz 90% of the time i look at my phone's screen, and 10% take pictures? oh and not everyone takes lot of pictures at night that need a xenon flash, without it in the afternoon the pictures quality are the same

            i'd definitely go for N86 8MP than N82, lol
u get so much more from it
yes n95 8gb is overall a flagship, n82 is only flagship for its camera

just like n97 and n86, n97 is the flagship and n86 is the imaging flagship =)

N82 is much better than N95 8GB in the long run. Nokia made N95 8GB a dual slider with larger screen to make it worthy as a flagship device and to distinguish it from N82, The only thing that sets them apart is the form factor and the screen size. Other than those two, there is no other blatant difference between them except of course that N82 takes much better pictures at any lighting conditions. The question for consumers is would sacrifice the great camera that takes great pictures at all lighting conditions and even surpasses the new N86 8MP in photography in pitch darkness, just for the sake of a larger screen but same low resolution and a dual slide that is prone to wear and tear? I think it's not worth it.

There should be lens cover on n95 camera althouh it will protect the lens from scratches and it will provide the same quality which was at the time of buying

victor, 17 Jul 2009hi guys, im planning to buy nokia 95 8gb.. which is more be... moredefinitely N95 8GB!
                      i had N95 8GB for a year, it's a good phone, then change to N96, 2 months and i was disappointed =(
                      N96's main problem were:
                      - bad battery life
                      - bad keypad, hard to press, flat
                      - cheap plastic, u hear those creak sounds everywhere
                      - no graphic accelerator i guess?

just don't get it, it's sh*t trust me, i went back to N95 8GB after that

I can't seem to get used to it easily, unlike the Keypad of N95 8GB =)
