So, you just have to choose, as the message appears on the phone, "connect mass memory", or something like that.
Then you can, precisely, format the 8 GB, from Windows ;)

@ Aaron
uh huh, so what if it's a mid-high end phone?
no matter what u say bout N82, such as saying how the price is lower, bla bla bla..N95 8GB is still better, we're only talking bout the features here right?
yea that's right, N96 is better than N85, so? of coz by not much, if it's by a lot, who would want to get N85? it's all in Nokia's marketing strategy~
if u want a real flagship N series device, get N95 8GB, if you're not a die hard fan of a powerful beast phone, then get the rest like N79 N85 N82 or N78 perhaps? lol

endlessz, 19 Apr 2009@ Aaron Is the pro of N82 only the xenon flash? that's ... moreI've already narrated the pros and cons of both N82 and N95 8GB. It was during the prehistoric era that the flagship handset was better than the it's midrange counterpart. Today, the only clear advantage that a flagship device has over it's midrange and entry-level counterparts is it's stunning looks and design. N96 is the flagship while N85 is its midrange counterpart. Between the two, which do you think is better? N85 does everything that N96 does except of course for the DVB-H, and N85 does them better. N95 8GB is the flagship while N82 is the midrange. They share exactly the same feature sets. The N95 8GB however displays larger pictures though with the same resolution, plays games in landscape mode but it cannot take pictures brightly even in complete darkness. So the gap between an N9x and N8x device is not too wide. And for the record, N8x devices aren't necessarily midrange devices. N7x are. N8x device are mid-to-high end devices. They are the ones that inherit the high-end features of the flagship devices, improves even make them better, to be later distributed to midrange devices. N97 is the next flagship device. However, it's midrange counterpart is not yet released. No it's not the 5800. Nokia is currently on the process of developing a device that runs on S60 5th Edition FP1. And that probably will be the next N8x after N86.

My unit lasts 3 days at least with moderate use of wi-fi, gps, bluetooth and ofcourse quite a few sms and calls. So if you drain it in 1 day you really have to be a super-heavy user. Regards!
