The N95 8GB has the best sound I have seen on a phone with the 2 speakers i'd definately recommend it!

hello,
i can not make up my mind i need some help and advice, i currently have a nokia e66, and it just broke down, i have a chance to trade it in for a brand new nokia n95 8gb or brand new nokia e66.
- does the n95 8gb have good sound quality?
- is it good on battery and has fast internet streaming through wi-fi?
- is it easy to download themes and songs through usb cable?

From the first day of purchase this ph has been problematic. The speaker had a cracking noise, frezze's alot when opening files, GPS doesn't pick up signal, swicthes off automaticly.Canonly reset by removing battery. Can someone help?? Do I need a software upgrade??

Anonymous, 27 Nov 2007TO make GPS work you got to have internet connection provid... moreyou can use the gps on the n95, it is a stand alone gps, but it can also be use in assisted gps in blue tooth or network..................a-gps
dont believe that guy that he said you cannot use it, he doesnt know anything....read your manual man.

I just bought my N95-2 8gb from the shop... And I could say, there's no such big difference from other Nokia N Series phone... It's a great phone though... Feature-packed mobile phone... It has everything a normal person would ask for a gadget...There is just one thing that I really hate about Nokia... Their NSU!!! It is always unavailable, if not, it always disconnect to the server when downloading the updates... Can anyone help me about the NSU... It always says: Sorry, Nokia Software Updater is currently unavailable. Please try again later. LATERRRRR!!!! When is that??? Ive been trying for couple of weeks, until now, nothing happens... I reinstalled for the nth time, but still no luck... Any help will surely be appreciated... KUDOS!!

tt, 22 Mar 2009Hi! I simply downloaded themes from Nokia's Mosh and i can ... morethe best themes are the default nokia 5700 themes.they are so cool.i have all of them installed in my n82.but the way,i like this n95 8gb.but i didn't buy it.it's a lot more expensive.i think n82 is the better deal.

For all the N958gb lovers out there i want to post two pieces of software that really changed handling my N958gb (they will do that with each Symbian phone probably)
1) Epocware Handy Shell (a great today screen combined with Handy Weather gives you all the info in one screen - fabulous tool that i recommend to anyone and greatly superior to Nokia's active stand by)It has three different customizable active pages (today,apps,contacts)

2)Foreca Weather - a great weather plug-in that integrates with your calendar and you can even use the gps to have the weather report for your current location)

p.s.
I later discovered that Nokis N series themes look the best, so i'm now using N Series Theme No.2 and i love it

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970A bloke posting under Anonymus posted all the 500 reasons why you should go for N85 and was quite pissed when he found out that there is no significant improvement in N85 toward N958gb. You might be careful with N85, while being a great phone they messed the keyboard pretty heavily and also the buttons on the unit take time to adjust to (if ever). While N958gb is still king you can see that it's 2 years old so if u want to be hip go 4 N85, otherwise go for N958gb or wait for N97:) regards!
