without using it entirely for songs only it's already slow. quite lag actually this phone.. however, with a phone packed with so many features, it's no wonder tt it's slow.

i'll be Honest here between the nokia n95-8G, and n96, not alot diffence same specifications the nokia n95-8G has a great fantasic picture and the video is great to. the features are fantasic i love this version. my advice stick with this instead of the new N96 the n96 aint no different it's a rip off

When you said "A-GPS" what's that you mean? because de touch cruise for exalmple have GPS but it don´t have A-GPS Functionaliy...

Hi my phone is great, functions really well far as im concerned - but - i'm aware that i could update it..mine currently has v20.0.016 software..what benefit would i get from updating to whatever is the latest anyone?

Well you need to "exit" on most of the application that you had entered. Might check by pressing down the Menu button for 3to4 sec, then active application will appeared. Note that; other than "standby" mode, others application should be "exit" completely.

finally i bought this phone a couple of weeks ago. hell lotta money for mobile phone! this is more expensive than my asus eepc. my impression is kinda mix. no doubt it's very nice device...everything packed in this small phone. featurewise, i really liked it and getting used to it (moved from sony ericsson m600). i do sometimes miss touch screen of my old se phone. it does what it claims to do.
here is the thing: builtwise this is the worst phone i have ever had. it looks so cheap....made up of junk plastic. moreover the slider.....its wobbly and shaky. i feel like its gonna fall apart any time soon. it does not worth your money at all. its a shame nokia.

Nokia Neva said the N96 was an upgrade 2 the N95 8GB.......its an ALTERNATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted 2 purchase the N95 8GB yet i didnt coz i needed more space.....so The N96 is an ALTERNATIVE.........Nokia realised that peaople are different so in order 2 suit the needs of numerous people and meet there charector standards in wat phone they should use, they produce a number of models with similer features for u 2 choose from.....that way they meet ur perdonal needs.....!!!!So if u dnt like the N96 that means it wasnt ment 4 you......Your baby is being Made by Nokia as we speak. So leav the N96 Alone....!!!!! This multimedia computer is outstanding!!!!!! N95 8GB Rules...

I think N95 8GB is amazing piece of device such its predecessor N95. It does has dual sliding, multimedia, GPS n quiet good battery life (1200mh) though (Apple iphone can be use up to 8 hours continuously) while n95 8gb can only be used at mere 5-6 hours. One thing i wonder why does nokia n95 doesnt support any touchscreen mode such as samsung omnia and Apple iphone so we can easily access to internet and multimedia. Thats the only drawback i found out on tis product. Apart from that, nokia N95 8GB is the great phone to be own especially someone like me.
